This haul post was requested by Chantana coz she's curious about the products I'd gotten in the Nature Republic CNY Bags. The promotion period was on 29th and 30th Jan'11 with each outlet holding only 20 bags (per day I guessed). Each person was limited to buy only 1 bag at $50 which contains goodies worth more than $128. Well, if you're lucky enough, you'd score the most expensive ones with $288 worth of goodies ! Umm.. I wasn't THAT lucky hahas xD

By the time (noon) I reached the 313 outlet, the store was left with about 10 bags. Initially I thought the bags would be sold out by then. My fears were unfounded. There were pink and red ones. I wanted to get the pink, my favorite color. However, after using my sense of touch all over the bags, I decided to get the red one instead. You'll not know what's inside the bags coz they're carefully packed and sealed in a way. The only way is to FEEL 'em :x After I got mine, I managed to convince my sis to get one as well. Good things are meant to share yea :D

Dark Diversion is a darkened burgundy-brown with berry-wine undertones and subtle berry micro-shimmer.  This is a new and limited edition shade. (credits to Temptalia)

This limited edition shade is too pretty to pass, seriously ! It's no doubt a must-buy for me :p

Single layer vs Double layer ♥

The fluidline is easy to apply, glides on the eyes effortlessly since it's so creamy and pigmented. I love the subtle berry micro-shimmers, which brightens up the whole look somehow (; Very lasting; the color doesn't fade at all.

My LOTD. Now, you know why I name it Color Contrast. You must be wondering why the hell did I use turquoise mascara ?!

I actually tried this Turquoise Colored Mascara from the Make Up Store. I didn't purchase it in the end, though I kinda like the unique color. Too expensive IMO =.=

Now, food porn time !

Dim sum at Crystal Jade Palace Restaurant with Sandy and Jessie. Initially wanted to go Imperial Treasure BUT full house. No choice :,/ By the time they called, we were already in the midst of eating. It's advisable to go during the weekdays, seriously. Preferably before lunchtime.

And so, the custard buns were so-so. Disappointed coz Imperial Treasure serve awesome ones !! Don't believe, ask Kim :p

Ok, the har gaus were pretty good. Comparable, IMO.

This was alright too. Steamed pork ribs.

Roasted pork, I like ! I'll love it much much more if the serving is more generous :p

Siew mai taste good too albeit lil' salty. Not too porky. You know, the difference between normal siew mai and restaurant siew mai lies in the amount of prawns used (at least to me) XD

Prawn chee cheong fun. The skin is just a lil' thick, that's all. Other than that, I like it pretty much.

Fried prawn dumplings. Not too oily, just abit salty =.=

I still prefer Imperial Treasure char siew paus. *SIGH*

I forgot the name of this dish. Sweet muah-chee like skin with savory white radish fillings, I think. Taste not bad, surprisingly. Just too oily.

The century egg/lean meat porridge had a chao-tah taste :/ They didn't charge us for this. I wonder if anyone else "complained" about it ?

 

Dinner was as sumptuous I guess. Super-filling lunch and dinner but I ain't complaining !!

Oh, we were at Bedok Point, new shopping mall in Bedok *DUH* Hmm it's more of a food mall to me hahas !

We settled our dinner at Chicken Hot Pot. There was a long queue, and the food on the tables look exceptionally delicious. The people there were enjoying their food, as seen from the satisfying expressions :X

The chicken hot pot. Looks good eh. Taste even better ! The sauce is spicy and so addictive. I can literally finish a bowl of white rice drenched with this super awesome sauce teehee~ :P It's really THAT awesome ! The serving size is for 4 pax btw, with only 3 of us finishing the food effortlessly LOL

We ordered mushrooms too, which we added into the chicken hot pot. YUMMY !! Should've ordered more mushrooms. Lime juice for me and my sis, coke for my bro (not in photos).

We ordered a set which comes with prawn hot pot as well. It could be better if the prawns were more fresh. Other than that, I like the taste.

Did you spot an unusual ingredient ?

Yes, fries. Soggy, coz they'd been soaked in the sauce for quite long. Underneath the prawns and fries were onions, celeries, etc. I helped myself to the flavorful celeries in both the chicken and prawn hot pots :D

Last last friday, I attended Secretive's "Diamond Sparkle VIP Party" together with Ryna and Jessie.

Inside MBS. We were at Tower One btw.

The bathroom is HUMONGOUS ! I literally gasped when I saw the bathroom (X

Now, you know what I mean by HUMONGOUS ? There's a bathtub as well ! The size of the bathroom bigger than the hotel room I stayed in HK =.=

Hmm I didn't really try out much of the products. Later you'll know why x: I caught a whiff of ElishaCoy Milk Cacao Black Sugar Scrub and the cacao smell was very distinct indeed. An uncanny resemblance to Nutella XD

Tried the ElishaCoy BB All-In-One Cleanser as well. It foams well and I love the hint of floral scent.

But then again, many had problems with the person who conducted the spree. Some of the common problems were: not able to get back refunds despite numerous reminders, unable to contact (be it thru' sms-es, emails, calls, PM-s !!). I can't help but wonder if I'll get any refund for my OOS e/s or will the e/s arrive safely in prolly months' time ?? Well, I'm THAT accommodating that I traveled all the way to the west to collect the e/s instead of opting for mail. It was my 1st time joining OnSugar spree and it wasn't a good one. I believe there're others who have worse experience(s) as compared to mine. Oh well ..

can you believe that he is that old ? he definitely look much younger, yes ?

well, it was not due to good genes that he look so youthful now. he shared with us how terrible his skin condition was when he was young and how he managed to improve his skin condition eventually. he strongly believe "只有懶人，沒有醜人" (there are only lazy people, no ugly people). very true indeed ! in fact, he spends at least 1-2 hours day and night for his skincare regime !

here are some helpful tips he shared.

it is good to consume white fungus (白木耳) soup with wolfberries ( 枸杞子) in the morning. super good for skin !

he encouraged us to eat more berries (strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, etc) as they are rich in antioxidants. he also mentioned that it is better to eat dried berries (higher concentration of antioxidants) as compared to fresh ones (high water content).

he recommended us to take Japanese ginseng instead of Korean and American ones (too heaty). these are for improving our blood circulation :D

lalala i didn't perm my hair. if i did, the hair stylist is very lousy then LOL xD well, i just simply bun up my hair real tight then release after hours. these loose curls will stay on for quite sometime. if you want it to last longer, just use hair styling products (:

now to the random part :D random dinner with my bro after work. he brought me to a japanese restaurant at cuppage. i was very hungry by that time (around 7plus) and ordered a porky set. he ordered unagi set with tempura, his usual.

when his set came, i was immediately attracted to the two fleshy unagi !! now i know why he always order this ! usually other restaurants serve small and thin unagi, this is so different and looks so damn delicious !! i was literally drooling T_T

mine was not as drool-worthy. in fact, he said that tonkichi porky set is much tastier.. the meat is much more tender & juicy hence the price is twice of this set -,- oh i shared my set with him so that i could eat the unagi hehe :p waaa it's pure orgasm max !! the BEST unagi i've ever eaten !! seriously, it's so delicious you'll be wanting for more hahas !

yea and we ordered this bbq squid. it was wrong order as my bro wanted the buttered one. it didn't look appetizing at all and i was quite sad that we couldn't change order. so i took the first bite.. !!! SO DELICIOUS !!! don't judge food by its appearance that is !!! simple bbq squid but the taste was so fresh and tantalizing. glad that it was wrong order afterall hahas ! AHHH i wanna go back again !

overall quite tasty, the meat is soft and juicy. the sauce taste just right, not too sweet. the portion is quite small though.

伊府面 - umm i don't know what this is called in english.

i like this noodles alot ! this is super delicious but again, the serving is too small. it's just enough for one person.

the star ! 辣椒螃蟹 - the famous singapore chilli crab !

i must say, the crabs here are really fresh, big and succulent ! the ones at long beach, red house, jumbo seafood sucks, seriously ! :/

炸馒头 - fried buns

these are for dipping the chilli crab sauce, great combination indeed !

招牌茄子 - signature brinjals

not everyone likes to eat brinjals i know. these are really good stuff, something different from the usual claypot ones. damn nice !

咸蛋炒螃蟹 - salted egg crabs

yummy !! this was the last dish, and we were very full by then. i thought we ordered very little -,- even wanted to go for dim sum after which (SIAO !) the bill came up to be 3 digit since we ordered 2 big crabs. it's a truly satisfying meal no doubt (:
