I bought this Essence Nail Art Express Dry Drops coz it's just a fraction of the price of Seche Vite. I think it was $3.90 (8ml) if I remember correctly. Hope it works well...

 

The dark colored one (Anna Sui Lip Gloss R 550) was from Chantana. Looks not bad on me, me thinks :P

Here are the swatches of R 550 & C 302. They aren't too sticky, which sits comfortably on the lips. Pretty moisturizing, I would say. Ooo btw... they've the signature Anna Sui rose scent. Me loves!

During the K-Palette week, I went for the complimentary makeover session @ BHG Bugis on 15th July (Fri).

I did my own base makeup before heading out. In case you're wondering what blusher I used, that's Chanel Joues Contraste Rouge Powder Blush.

Btw, the oh-so-famous Amazing Concealer ain't working amazingly for me. I tried using it to conceal my zits and redness. Apparently, it failed to do so. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! It ain't cheap yo. To think I actually bought the 30ml! :/

Before the makeover session, I collected my Beauty Carousel prize @ Japalang Pte Ltd (Enterprise One). I swatched on K-Palette nail polish (the glittery ones) while waiting for 'em to pass me the prize.

My favorite? The turquoise one.

I've gotten this Ossion Mild Touch Detox Bubble Mask sample from The Sample Store. Never heard of this brand before. Btw it's from Korea and it sounds really promising, judging from what I've read on the website. Anyway, shall try it out !

CLEO magazine freebies (: Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate sachet sample and Whisper Nights Super Long Overnights Pad. Hmm I've tried the pad and what I can say is it's really SUPER LONG !! I felt as if I was wearing adult diaper (mini version), super uncomfortable -__-" I'll never buy this for sure.

This Sana PorePutty Make Up Base SPF17/PA++ was bought at John Little. It claims to create even-looking skin, by covering the visible pores. Foundation application is made easier. It contains silicon and sebum-absorbing powder. Is it really that good ?

Ignore the $4.90 price tags. I bought these @ 2 for $1 !! ;D

I bought these to complement my face cleansing. I haven't use the wash net yet. The face cleansing brush bristles seem to be a lil' harsh on my skin. Maybe I'll just use it to brush my neck area only.

I love this Tohato Caramel Corn snack alot !! Do try it, and get addicted like I do :p I can easily finish one whole packet on my own.

Organic Cotton rounds and pads from The Body Shop. They retail for about $2+ or $3+ I think, very affordable !

I saw this The Body Shop Autumn Leaves Compact on several blogs.. and I got tempted.. I wanted to get both initially but I end up getting just this Berry one. The swatches are beautiful, remind me of MAC MSF. Hmm but.. one thing I notice about The Body Shop makeup, they break too easily ! This was what happened to my bronzer compact and eyeshadow :,( Or is it just me ?

I got this Biore Makeup Remover (for Eye & Lip) sample but yet to try yet. So far its reviews are good, from what I've gathered from most beauty blogs.

my hauls are never-ending, i know. it surely doesn't help that beauty brands are coming up with new products every now & then. i just bought MUFE lab shine lip glosses from a friendly MUA at Sephora Ion. i was there with Charlene btw, she bought a foundation. no pictures for now as i'm still trying to finish up this collective haul post for now. well, initially i met up with her just to get Guerlain Écrin 6 Couleurs palettes but sadly the ones we wanted to get were OOS due to its launch promo at CK Tangs. i think by the time the stock arrives, the promo will be over and surely $118 is not a price that i'll be willin g to fork out for the palette =_=" and, we reserved Urban Decay Naked palette ! i was told Urban Decay Book of Shadows 3 won't be coming to Singapore :c sad !! anyway, i had a great time shopping with her and she's taller than expected :p

ahh.. many happy things happened lately.. i participated in a hair color seminar hosted by Canada award winning colorist Rodica Hristu with Jones.. just attended Aqualabel workshop for the contest.. won Chantana's giveaway 牛爾 Robin Niu's Beauty Talk Workshop ticket (redberry, candy & jones also won) ! going for an exclusive bloggers' Kotex WOW party before that.. oh i went to a Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Serum workshop as i was one of the 100 ladies selected from 2000+ survey entries and received a full sized Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Serum :3 i'll be receiving Mojitate Kiajitsu & Deep Moist lipbalms from The Sample Store (formerly known as Fr3b) for review purposes.. black head break remover massage oil, a remover oil for smooth nose that minimises pores after remove blackhead in pores. cover a fair amount over nose, spread and massage for about 3 mins, then rinse with warm water, wash with foam cleanser.

color deco nail colors, aren't these colors gorgeous !? not to mention the prices are to-die-for LOL

aquadisiac, the very 1st l'oreal chrome intensity palette i got my hands on. now, i'm still short of pink mania to complete the collection. should i ? i've been deciding for the longest time -,- i must say the colors are so very intense that my friend actually asked if i was going for some wedding dinner or party *faints* usually what you see on the pictures are kind of 'washed out' colors. in real life, the colors are seriously pigmented. you have to try to know.

 

my overall look without lip makeup. i prefer to take pictures in the toilet since the lighting there is the best (the rest really sucks :/).

on the very day i had this look on, i went far east plaza to buy some lashes. i bought at enamour, the shop best known for pushy sales girls :/ it is located at level 4 by the way. this girl who served me & my friend keep up-selling from head (hair products) to toe (foot mask). we came out $50 poorer each :/ 15 pairs of lashes, 1 black lash liner glue & double-lid stickers set.

here's my 1st look with lip makeup on. i'm using the giveaway prize i won from hazel, covergirl outlast lipstain - everbloom kiss.

what i like about this lipstain is that it is easy to draw on lips. it leaves a slight tint on lips, good enough to brighten up my whole look. it doesn't dry my lips and i love the accompanying lil' sweet scent. overall, i find it very cute to use as the packaging is just like a typical pink highlighter :D

hmm, i find the lashes natural since the length is not that long. they are slightly longer than my own mascara-ed lashes. however, the color of lashes are quite obvious. very natural lashes are usually quite fine and the color is not obvious.

by the way, the sales girl helped me put on the eyelashes. do note that once they let you TRY the lashes, simply means you must BUY the lashes. so, think twice.

oh, the very helpful girl also helped me put on the double eyelid stickers. yes, once tried considered sold.

the lashes look kind of glossy black right.

notice a slight change ? my lip makeup is more towards nude pink. you just have to apply a tiny bit of concealer on your stained lips.

the overall look is more sweet & demure kind.

i prefer this look more since the eye makeup is already kind of heavy somehow. the previous look is more suitable for going clubbing, wedding dinners, etc.

june, the typical s'porean fav mth since it's the yearly gss affair.. everywhere sales.. actually then again there are sales every now & then.. be it small or big.. anyways, shopping is s'porean fav hobby hahas xD hmm this applies to me pretty much since i'm a typical s'porean lady heez~ & i'm proud to be one :3 well, i simply can't stop shopping.. i see i like i buy(provided my wallet ok :x) some buys take me a long time to tink.. some no need to tink.. are u the same as me ? and, most of the times, we buy things knowing dat we already have similar ones.. or things dat we dont need or live without.. we buy things we want, not need or should.. it's a different matter altogether (: but then again, if we truly feel happy abt our buys.. y not ?

27 nyx round lippies n_~ lotsa purples & browns..

i've tried on cinnamon sugar & i like it ! soft muted neutral brown with slight chrome finish.. no distinctive lippie smell/taste i like (: u can pair this with strong bold eye makeup & u'll look fantastic !

the very first lunasol i'd gotten was Lunasol Control Makeup Base 25ml 02 Lightening..

it is a SPF20 PA++ makeup base that evens out roughness and clears away the signs of dullness with a soothing texture.

imo, it doesnt do much seriously.. i literally felt dat $52 is not worth to spend (... splurge) on this -,- disappointed much..

anyways on a happier note, i dint give up totally on lunasol !! after several blog reviews and such, i decided to get lunasol spring 2010 eyeshadow palette(s) :D~
