Recently, drugstore skincare brands have jumped onto the "instant-foam cleanser" bandwagon. Hmm.. That's great! I do prefer 'em over the normal ones. Hassle-free much.

Bebe Poshe is finally made available @ Watsons NAC. CLICK HERE for swatches of Bebe Poshe products. The column beside Bebe Poshe has different brands within.

The Violent Lips look really awesome.. for HALLOWEEN! I don't think anyone will be game enough to wear leopard print lips on normal days? Too out-standing.. Very visually appealing though..

There's also bird-feathers lashes.. Didn't take note of the brand.. It's within the same column as Violent Lips. Oh, China Glaze nail polishes can be bought @ Watsons.. for $19 each! =.=

Here are some makeup stuff I'd bought weeks/months(?) back. And judging from the LOTD photos later, it's clearly a super dated LOTD. Later, you'll know why.. (:

 

1st up, Maybelline Spring Blossoms 2011 Collection Pure Mineral Two-Way Cake Foundation. 1 sold in every minute in Japan! WOW impressive!

Honestly speaking, I was really surprised that Maybelline came up with such a kawaii-looking casing. Guess Maybelline is keeping up with the kawaii trend after the limited edition Hello Kitty Volum' Express Mascara? Well, I ain't complaining. I do wish Maybelline have more & more kawaii products coming up! A good example will be the newly launched Baby Lips Lip Balms, don't ya agree?

This two-way foundation is developed in Japan for Asian skin! *Yipee!~*

• Breathable Coverage (lightweight micro-minerals that give you a smooth finish without clogging your pores)
• More Hydrated Skin (contain 100% moisturized micro-mineral pigments & other natural moisturizing agents that refine fines too)

I was totally sucked in by the oh-so-pretty limited edition casing! Well, I love almost everything that's pink.. teehee~ ♥ And, after I bought this.. I managed to "convince" my lil' sis to buy this well! Hmm.. She loves pink too..So yups :D

Me super love this pink bling! ♥ $19.90 is such a steal seriously..

Peel off the plastic sheet and stick the adhesive part onto the casing.

I chose the shade OC-1.. a bit yellowish for me.. PO-1 will be better? More pinkish..

I will recommend this for those who prefer a light coverage powder foundation. I love the fact that the powder feels light and silky smooth on my skin. If you want more coverage, just apply a thin layer of foundation before using this powder. I'd tried before and it didn't make my face look cakey.

Canmake Nudy Glow Rouge, obviously not new in the market. I'm quite late in getting these.. Better be late than never :x

It's so hard to choose! It took me quite sometime to finally settle on these two: 02 Strawberry Whip & 06 Peach Milk.

The glosses have great pigmentation and they don't feel sticky on my lips at all despite the thick consistency. The overall look is milky nude glossy lips without any distinct shimmery bits. My lips feel plumper and moisturized thanks to the moisturizing agents (sodium hyaluronate, atelocollagen, royal jelly extract, rosemary extract, oriental wormwood extract, loquat leaf extract) & volumizing complex ♥

Don't apply on chapped lips as these glosses will accentuate the dryness which ain't a pretty sight. I would say it'll look gross?

The Body Shop "Brush with Fashion" Limited Collection For Eyes 02 A La Mode.

"This eye palette features three pearlescent shades in silver, white and pink, and a matte black. It includes a mini Eye Definer in 01 Black and features collectable packaging designed by London College of Fashion."

This is part of TBS haul I'd gotten awhile ago.

My favorite is the silver color!

Swatches with just one swipe. I guess the black e/s have to be used wet? Coz it isn't pigmented at all -.-

I've problem with the pink e/s or izzit my problem? It ain't showing well on me.. *sad*

I like the intensity of the silver e/s as well as the white e/s which imparts a pretty soft glow on my brow bone area. See the pink e/s "refuse" to look pink on me >.<

See what I mean by super dated LOTD? The ugly spot above my lips. Now, it's no longer around thanks to the facial and skincare I've been using!

Just a simple chocolatey brown LOTD, using Canmake Four Shiny Eyes 03 palette.

From left to right: Base Color (shimmery pale gold), Light Color (pearly light nude peach), Accent Color (sparkling golden brown), Liner Color (rich dark chocolate).

The pigmentation isn't fantastic, but decent overall in terms of the price you pay. A counter brand eyeshadow quad eg. Lancôme, easily cost about $80ish. It retails for 680YEN which comes up to be about $10ish. I got this at $16 after 20% discount at JL. Yes, that's how ridiculous Canmake products' prices are marked up in Sg. Twice as much :/ Anyway, I managed to get 2 more at Watsons BOGO promotion (during their 1-day member's sale).

If you don't like shimmery/glittery eyeshadows, forget about getting these. Do not pile on too much though; less is more. Unless you wanna look like a disco ball.

FYI, photos of my LOTD were taken after I was out for 6 hours. I did blot twice with tissue paper, touch-up once.

The morning breakfast wasn't that good. I had KFC Blueberry Pancakes breakfast set (with scrambled eggs). I rather stick to McDonald's or just pay more for Cedele's.

The scrambled eggs were plain and over-cooked.

The coffee was just normal. Nuff' said.

That day, I was meeting Chantana in the noon for lunch and most importantly, to take a look at MAC Quite Cute Collection. We were both eye-ing on the Miss Behave Mineralized Blush. Only Robinsons (Rafflescity) stocked 'em at that point of time and apparently, OOS. I not sure if the rest stock 'em now but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it afterall. I went to Sephora Ion to check out the MAC Candy Yum-Yum (matte neon pink) lipstick coz it look super YUMMY when I saw swatches online. I think it should be OOS by now...... Hmm.. wondering if I should get this :s

AND, I went to check out Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils after checking out Joey's awesome haul post. I'm eye-ing Mercury, Delinquent and Clinic.. and perhaps Rehab.. I want all :s Very smooth and creamy; glides on like a dream. Uber pigmented even with just a single stroke.

The swatches turned out to be so pretty under bright sunlight. I took the photos just outside Orchard Ion.

Swatches of Sakura Mineralized Blush. Pretty lavender color. Quite sheer and powdery. Btw, it retails for $44 and it's limited edition.

Lunch was settled at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao Restaurant (Suntec City Mall). Prices there were fairly reasonable. Chantana had the spicy beef soup la mian.

I had the zha jiang la mian, which I find the sauce too watery for my liking. The noodles were just normal, think I'll order the soup ones next time.

My favorite time of the day is night, when the moonlight shines. I super dislike the blazing sunlight, seriously. A big NO-NO to sun-tanning for me.

LOTD time ♥

It was a night of SUPER FULL makeup for me since I was gonna club with my friends. It had been quite awhile since I clubbed! AGE is definitely catching up on me. I no longer have the urge to club as frequently as before. Ahh.. I can't believe I'll be hitting my 30s in just a few years' time T^T

Dazzling shimmery eyes accompanied with pink flushed cheeks and nudey pink lips.

Sephora Perfection Primer, followed by Lancôme Teint Miracle Foundation PO-3. Coffret D'or Beauty Essence Pact to set the foundation. My cheeks -> Red Earth Cheeky Flirt (Foxy Lady) x Melliesh Cheek Color 02 Baby Peach. To highlight my face, I used MAC MSF (By Candlelight).

My eye makeup is achieved with Lunasol Nature Color Eyes in 01 Nature Blue, which I used in a LOTD last year. Prior using the eyeshadow palette, I used Benefit Stay Don't Stray to prime my eye area. On my entire eye area, I applied the shimmery light yellow color (Lunasol) and then the shimmery light mint color (Lunasol) on the lids. For upper and bottom lashline, I used the cool brown color (Lunasol) to define my eyes. As for the inner corners of my eyes, I used the shimmery light yellow color (Lunasol) again. Lioele Artist Auto Eyebrow #3 Grey Black for my brows. My trusty L'oreal SuperLiner (black) for my all-time favorite winged eye look ♥

And, I'm happy to announce I'd found another HG mascara combination (apart from my all-time favorite Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl x Sasatinnie Super Dolly Powerful Curling Mascara combi). Do note that I've the habit to curl my lashes before using mascara, which I did in this case. I wasn't born with beautifully curled lashes (:

My lashes look UBER DOLLY-LIKE, yes-yes?? Super volumized, lengthened, black. NO-NO, I wasn't wearing fake lashes!

And so, my new HG mascara combination is:

Lips -> Heavy Rotation Lip Concealer x Melliesh Lip Gloss 02 Baby Doll.

After which, my camera's battery died :,/

Using my lousy iPhone camera function which simply can't take decent night photos, here are the few okay photos. No clubbing photos, ya know why =.=

Me and my friends wanted to go Butterfactory BUT it was FULL HOUSE :/ So, we went to a random bar to drink something 1st. Actually I wasn't too keen on clubbing that night. I just wanna laze at home as usual, watching random movies online. My 2 pretty friends wanted me to join 'em and I had to give 'em face. I'm one who easily gives in :s

And, I gotta know 2 new guy friends that night. AND again, I was the oldest among 'em. Thanks really ar. The 86s and 87s =.= Glad that it was truly a fun night afterall.

Hmm.. these chicken wings not nice at all :s I enjoyed eating the sweet crunchy celery and carrot sticks though.

They ordered Erdinger, one of my favorite beers.

Oh ya, we were at OverEasy. The guys had a friend working there, hence we had discount on our orders :p

My Strawberry Margarita which tasted not so bad BUT I still prefer Cafe Iguana's!

And so, after OverEasy, we headed to Shanghai Dolly. That was my 1st time. Had Martell on the rock, more beer, red bull vodka. Didn't drink-drank-drunk, thankfully. BUT KJ said I did doze off for 10mins...... which I had no idea at all. At least, I remembered mostly what happened. My friends were gone by then :x Uber happening night, I must say. I think I won't be clubbing for quite sometime? Till then ♥

And, the focus of this LOTD is my pimp-ed lashes of coz (as shown in the super close-up photo).

Notice the red bits? Well, the red was not super obvious kind coz I layered red mascara over Dolly Wink Volume Mascara.

I'm pretty sure that the red will be super obvious over Majolica Majorca Lash Bone White Fiber.

You must be wondering what red mascara I'm talking about, yes? I didn't get it when it was launched last year. I only got it this year and I just knew I had to get my hands on it. Btw it's limited edition, maybe that explains why?

A lil' review for now:

Red is definitely a unique color and not as widely-used as black or brown of coz. It is not easy to find a red mascara IMO. Correct me if I'm wrong. I was bent on getting this MJ mascara and the only place which still had stock was NAC Watsons. I bought it at full price, no discount whatsoever coz it's limited edition. There was about 2 or 3 left (can't remember) after I got mine. I love how the red makes my eyes 'POP'; more 'awake' somehow. My lashes do look kinda spidery due to the mascara fibers. BUT that doesn't really bother me much, since no one will stand THAT close enough to see that. The mascara fibers did add some length to my lashes and I ain't complaining :p Easy to remove as well, with cleansing oil of coz! I'll layer this on top of MJ Lash Bone White Fiber next time to see the RED effect. ♥x♥

I look nothing like Tsubasa Masuwaka, seriously. It will be fabulous if I do. *dreaming*

I didn't use this coz I don't own it. After much deliberation, I decided not to get it. Maybe I'll change my mind if I spot a good buy? :p

For face, I used Dr Jart+ Most Moist Waterfuse BB Cream, with Sephora Perfection Primer as the highlighting makeup base. I love how the primer evens out my complexion, imparting a beautiful radiant shine on my face. It is also much easier to apply makeup and my makeup just last for practically the whole day. Yes, that's me after a long day (since morning). Notice I seldom didn't use concealer for quite awhile?

On my cheeks, is a lovely mix of Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek PK301 Peach Macaroon & PK303 Strawberry Macaroon. Yes, I caved in. Initially, I didn't wanna get 'em coz I think the colors are BLAH. After reading random blogs featuring these lovelies, I couldn't help but go "take a look" again. Well, I decided to get 'em after the MJ counter lady brushed the cheek color(s) on me. Thought of just getting just one at first. Hmm.. I couldn't decide so I got both :p AND then, I wanted to get OR302 Apricot Macaroon to complete the collection.. BUT it was OOS so I went on a quest looking for it. SO, did I manage to get it in the end? I'll let ya know in my Majolica Majorca Chapter 30: Sugary Trap collective haul entry :x

Umm.. pardon my messy brows. I used Lioele Artist Auto Eyebrow #3 Grey Black to fill my brows. I first applied Benefit Stay Don't Stray (the sample I got from my Benefit Haul), then Majolica Majorca Majolook EyeShadow Palette RS354 (light pink). I like the Benefit Stay Don't Stray coz my eye makeup stayed vibrant and there wasn't any creasing at all. So far so good.

On my lids, I applied L'oreal Chrome Intensity Aquadisiac (teal color). For bottom lashline, I used the purplish pink color from Majolica Majorca Majolook EyeShadow Palette RS354. Majolica Majorca Majolook EyeShadow Palette RS354 (medium pink) for the inner corners.

Dolly Wink Volume Mascara to pimp the lashes :p I used liquid eyeliner this time, L'oreal SuperLiner (black).

Oh yes, the lips! Melliesh Lip Gloss 02 Baby Doll ♥

Here's a not-dolly-at-all me to "brighten" up your day, perhaps? That's my usual naked lips btw.

For my eye makeup, I used a $2 eyeshadow I got from a shop at Nanairo (Liang Court). I went there with Chantana after the MAC Private Sale, and got myself several items. Shall blog about it soon :x

Here's the $2 eyeshadow I used.

My least favorite color will be the light blue one. When used, there wasn't any distinct difference between this and the blue-ish green one. White is my favorite coz it has a subtle shimmer; not overly shimmery/glittery kind. The dark blue isn't intense at all. Overall, the color payoff is decent. Using an eye primer will be good.

Swatched many layers. For just $2, I can't expect that much right?

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer was used prior layering the eyeshadow colors. For $2, I would say it's a rather decent eyeshadow.

Recently, I spotted 2 highly sought-after Japanese makeup brands, namely Dolly Wink (by Tsubasa Masuwaka) @ Watsons, and Melliesh (by Yui Kanno) @ StarDust (John Little). Do note that Dolly Wink will be only available only this month (March) as only limited quantities were flown over. And besides, the items are literally flying off the shelves despite the high price tag. Most are OOS as of now. As for Melliesh, I think it'll be a permanent brand in JL.

Dolly Wink is produced by oh-so-pretty Tsubasa Masuwaka.

Masuwaka Tsubasa (益若つばさ) was born on October 13, 1985 in Japan. She is a Japanese model, Gyaru/himegyaru icon & J-Pop singer.

She is also known as TSUBASA, she models in magazines like Popteen and egg. Tsubasa started her singing career in 2007 singing her first song "Magic to Love" on the compilation album "Gazen Parapara!! presents Campus Summit 2007". She also has a clothing brand called LIZ LISA.

So I bought No.3 Natural Girly instead.

And, No.6 Baby Cute (bottom lashes). It's even more difficult to put on bottom lashes =.= I shall try my best to make 'em work eh.

I'm starting to see my left eye having double eyelid!  As for my right eye, there isn't any most of the time. BUT right now, I can see double eyelid hehe :p I do hope that as time goes by (while I'm ageing), my "double eyelid-s" will become permanent. And, I'm a living example of having double eyelids without goin' thru plastic surgery!! Woohoo!~

Ok, back to this Koji Technical Eye Tape. I haven't get around using this as yet. It claims to be simple to use and you'll get natural-looking double eyelids. We shall see then :D

Isqueen Blemish Balm Cream mini set. I like to explore new brands. Isqueen is from Hong Kong, and Myolie Wu 胡杏儿 is the brand's ambassador.

I finally got myself eos (evolutionofsmooth) lip balm ♥ Lemon Drop SPF15 coz Honeysuckle Honeydew OOS.
