This is my humble Sleek Makeup collection so far. Just 8 9 eyeshadow palettes and 5 blushers. I have yet to collect my PPQ e/s palette.. =.=zzz

Shall be talking about the Mediterranean Collection. Didn't get the Pout Polish (as usual). And so, here we've are the Monaco e/s palette and Santorini Blush.

Santorini is a beautiful deep hot pink (matte) blush.

Uber pigmented, which is easily sheered out for a pretty flush of pink on the cheeks.

The actual color looks darker than the image above. Hmm.. It may look kinda intimidating. Trust me, the color is stunning! Remember to be as light-handed as possible to avoid looking like a clown :x

I'm super light-handed with my swatch yea :D~ ♥

Monaco e/s palette has a colorful mix of metallic, matte, shimmery shades.

Most are well-pigmented especially the metallic shades which are so smooth and buttery. Some of the matte shades do feel a lil' chalky. Overall, the quality is really good (as expected).

Bamboo makes a good e/s base color. Surprisingly, Sunset and Sandwalker appeals to me much. The metallic shades are pretty too - Kiwi Zest, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird.

FYI, these are not swatched over e/s primer.

 

Here's my "Mediterranean" LOTD, using the Monaco e/s palette and Santorini Blush.

For UV protection, I use C.A.D UV White Sun Base Cream SPF40/PA++. To even out my skin tone, I use Skin79 Lovely Girl BB Cream, then Chacott Finishing Powder 753. To fill my brows, I use Shu Uemura Hard Formula Eyebrow Pencil (Hard 9 Brown 03).

I use Clé de Peau Beauté Touche de Rouge Extra Silky Lipstick 108, then dap a teeny weeny bit of BB Cream for a nude lip look.

The colors I use from the Monaco e/s palette are:- Bamboo, Midnight Garden, Summer Breeze and Lotus Flower. The mascara I use - Fairy Drops Volume Burst Mascara (Waterproof). My ultimate favorite mascara for now. Review soon! :D~

FYI, I use Urban Decay Primer Potion prior e/s application.

Now, you should know why I'm loving the Santorini Blush sooo much! ^.~v

Do you know that Kanebo Freshel's Top Seller is BB Cream? Prior to the Bloggers' Event I attended, I already bought Kanebo Freshel White C W Cream UV from Watsons. Heard so much about it and I love trying BB Creams! Hence, the purchase. True enough, it didn't disappoint me.

To sum it up: This perfect BB cream work as an essence, emulsion, cream, sunscreen, and light makeup base.

Formulated with adhesive collagen for moisturizing effect and a fruit acid mixture for exfoliating and moisturizing care. This non-greasy moisturizing cream provides UV protection (SPF32-PA++) and covers dark spots. Effortlessly smooths into the skin for a quick finish, making it possible to complete morning care quickly with just this cream.

Here's a comparison between the Kanebo Freshel BB Creams. It's somewhat odd that the Moist Lift W Cream has a slightly lighter shade. I've yet to try this BB Cream which was provided by Kanebo Freshel (goodie bag), coz I'm pretty much obsessed with the White C W Cream UV one. This is the best-est BB Cream I've tried used so far. I've tried/used so many BB Creams under the influence of Kimoko's blog.

The texture of this Freshel White C W Cream UV is smooth and light-weight. Feels so comfortable on my skin! It offers adequate excellent coverage for my imperfections (spots, scars, dark circles, pores, etc). With that, I skip the use of concealer. The BB Cream evens out my skintone perfectly and my face is clearly more radiant (evident in the following photos below). I just need to lightly brush on some loose powder to set the makeup. There is no need to apply sunblock since it provides UV protection (SPF32-PA++). Saves time and fuss-free!

This BB Cream has slight yellow tones and IMO, it's more suitable for fair-medium skin tones (NC20/25). I find that I didn't blot as much when using this BB Cream. Overall, it gives me a dewy glowy finish which I loveee so much!

Yay or Nay?

It's been 2 weeks since I last blogged about my LOTD. Think I'd not been THAT experimental with colors. Hmm.. I should incorporate more colors in my LOTD-s, yes? This time, another brown themed LOTD (again). Btw I wore this look to the Murad Hybrids Event.

The main product (for eyes) I used was Kate Gel Shadow BR-1. I would describe the color as more of a copper brown with red undertones. I layered on Lunasol Nature Color Eyes 04 Nature Beige. For my brows, the usual Majolica Majorca Customize Sword Cut BR771, then KATE Eyebrow Color LB-1. To complete the eye makeup, I used Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner (1 of my favorite liquid liners), as well as Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara. FYI, I didn't use any eye primer.

MAC MSF Smooth Merge for my cheeks. It's more of a highlight than a full-on blusher. The coverage is buildable but too much will look overly frosty. I do like this MSF pretty much. And I got this for a steal :x

For my face, I used Lancôme Color Ideal Foundation. I forgot what's the shade but it's darker than my skin tone. I applied the foundation after using YSL Complexion Enhancer Oil Free No.2 Rose Pearl as base. Chacott Finishing Powder 753 to set the foundation.

Au naturel lips! :p

Dots. I looked as if I got xiaolongbaos x2, in my mouth o>.<o

Last last friday, I attended Secretive's "Diamond Sparkle VIP Party" together with Ryna and Jessie.

Inside MBS. We were at Tower One btw.

The bathroom is HUMONGOUS ! I literally gasped when I saw the bathroom (X

Now, you know what I mean by HUMONGOUS ? There's a bathtub as well ! The size of the bathroom bigger than the hotel room I stayed in HK =.=

Hmm I didn't really try out much of the products. Later you'll know why x: I caught a whiff of ElishaCoy Milk Cacao Black Sugar Scrub and the cacao smell was very distinct indeed. An uncanny resemblance to Nutella XD

Tried the ElishaCoy BB All-In-One Cleanser as well. It foams well and I love the hint of floral scent.

My OOTD. Diamond/Sparkle is the theme.

My LOTD was pretty much Indie-inspired, mainly b'coz of the colors used. MAC Mineralize e/s "It's a Miracle" (Magic, Mirth & Mischief collection).

Temptalia described the color as a rich, jewel-toned purple with golden shimmer combined with a crescent of glittery gold.

my hauls are never-ending, i know. it surely doesn't help that beauty brands are coming up with new products every now & then. i just bought MUFE lab shine lip glosses from a friendly MUA at Sephora Ion. i was there with Charlene btw, she bought a foundation. no pictures for now as i'm still trying to finish up this collective haul post for now. well, initially i met up with her just to get Guerlain Écrin 6 Couleurs palettes but sadly the ones we wanted to get were OOS due to its launch promo at CK Tangs. i think by the time the stock arrives, the promo will be over and surely $118 is not a price that i'll be willin g to fork out for the palette =_=" and, we reserved Urban Decay Naked palette ! i was told Urban Decay Book of Shadows 3 won't be coming to Singapore :c sad !! anyway, i had a great time shopping with her and she's taller than expected :p

ahh.. many happy things happened lately.. i participated in a hair color seminar hosted by Canada award winning colorist Rodica Hristu with Jones.. just attended Aqualabel workshop for the contest.. won Chantana's giveaway 牛爾 Robin Niu's Beauty Talk Workshop ticket (redberry, candy & jones also won) ! going for an exclusive bloggers' Kotex WOW party before that.. oh i went to a Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Serum workshop as i was one of the 100 ladies selected from 2000+ survey entries and received a full sized Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Serum :3 i'll be receiving Mojitate Kiajitsu & Deep Moist lipbalms from The Sample Store (formerly known as Fr3b) for review purposes.. Loreal is finally bringing in Hip eye makeup and i'm going for this exclusive preview ! very happy ! more opportunies of such please :3

this is not a recent haul.. i bought off soap&sorbet website & self-collected it with the highly-raved steam cream.. the le aluminium tin has a beautiful colorful butterfly motif, which is apparently oos now.. however there r other pretty collectible designs as well.. umm i haven't use the cream as yet :x i've jus used this love+toast sugar grapefruit hand creme & oh my the smell is sooo heavenly !! if u love fresh citrusy scent, u'll love it ! the texture is moisturizing & doesn't feel oily at all.. the downside is dat it's kind of small hence u'll finish this very fast i guess.. it retails for $19 btw (:
