This is my LOTD for the recent RoC event. Hmm... I think I used alot of products for this look (lol). The photo below, shows most but not all products used.

I love how Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Perversion gives my lips a pretty berry tone. A little goes a long way. Oh, I'm lovin' the mint flavor too ♥

I wanted my eye makeup to last longer than usual, hence using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Original). I applied it on my lids and on my lower lashline.

I applied Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eyeshadow in 7 Sweet Fire all over the lids, and Stila Shimmer Eyeshadow in Mystic over it (⅔ of lids). To highlight the brow bones, I used my all-time-fave Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten. I dusted a lil' Bourjois Intense Extrait Eyeshadow 03 Sand Rose to make the eyes 'pop'.

To avoid having 'sore-looking' eyes, I applied a thick 'liner' of MAC Paints in Graphito. Next, I drew a super thin line using my HG K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 24h Waterproof (Dark Brown), on the upper lashline (as close as possible!). The line must be extended at the end, to make the eyes look wider. For the lower lashline, I used my HG Stage Eye Liner 02 Broadway Brown (a super underrated eyeliner).

Lastly, I curled my lashes and applied 2 coats of Maybelline Volum’ Express Magnum Ultra Comb Waterproof Mascara.

I think the Revlon Colorstay Foundation 200 Nude is a lil' thick... I don't really like the idea of having a full-coverage face. That being said, I agree that it looks good in photographs... kinda too much in real life :S

And, credits to Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer, for creating the illusion of smooth-looking skin! Heh. Lovin' the beautiful glow Sleek Blush in Rose Gold imparted on my cheeks ♥

I took a considerable time doing this makeup look. More than an hour, in fact. I spent most of the time doing my eye makeup, ensuring it was wearable enough (before I head out for the Keratinology event).

Yes, I finally used Essence I ♥ ROCK gloss eye pencil! I lined the upper and lower lashline thicker than usual, extending a little beyond the eye. As it was supposed to be subtle and wearable, I didn't make the line thicker towards the outer end. Then, I applied Stila Mineral Matte Eye Shadow in Batura (a dark gray shade) over the liner as it smudges on its own.

For the entire lid area (above the liner) and lower lashline (over the liner), I applied Maquillage VI144 (a lilac shade with silver micro-shimmer bits).

I literally spammed 3 different mascaras for my lashes - Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara (to hold the curls), Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus Mascara BK999 (to comb the lashes) & Heroine Make Volume & Curl Mascara (for volumized and glossy black lashes). That explains the time taken for this look yea. I like to experience with different mascara combi, to achieve my desired look. Some mascaras don't work wonders on its own.

For the eyebrows, I used the Mio Piccolo Automatic Eyebrow Pencil MB. I like how the color looks on me. Sad to say, it ain't long-lasting. I had to briefly touch-up the brows after merely 3 hours. *DOTS DOTS*

For overall contour, I used the bronzer part of Pop Beauty Cheeky Cake in Beach Beauti. I applied that under the cheek bones from the hairline to the apple of cheeks. Next, I applied Alobon Bake Blush 03 over. Finally, I used MAC By Candlelight MSF as a highlight just above the blush/bronzer area.

The base makeup products I used:- Kevin Beautymaker DNA Extreme Whitening Foundation (Natural) & YSL Matt Pressed Powder No.1. I did some minor concealing with Kevin Beautymaker BB Mineral Concealing Cream.

I lightly brushed Kevin Beautymaker Bright Eye Pressed Powder under my eyes, to brighten up my peepers.

Last but not least, Laneige Snow Crystal Moisture Lipstick SYR02 Nude Beige on pre-balmed lips.

Celebrated ah mei's 22nd birthday @ Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck (Paragon) - 26.06.2011. Our 1st time dining there and it was an awesome "ducky" experience!

Crispy juicy peking duck skin dipped in sugar.. *drools*

Succulent pieces of nicely cut peking duck meat.. :d~

Traditionally served with mandarin pancakes and green onions, drizzled with tangy hoisin sauce.

Ordered assorted dim sum, the usual ones like custard paus, fried prawn dumplings, har gau, siew mai, char siew baked pastries, etc.

More peking duck meat! Imagine only 3 of us finishing the whole peking duck plus the dim sums! We can really eat uh.. :x

Scallop rice rolls.

The remaining duck meat stir-fried with my all-time-favorite ee fu mian. The total bill was a whopping $130ish!

This Stila Trendsetting In Tokyo Palette (Limited Edition) is collectible travel palette no.3. Though it didn't get many good reviews due to the poor e/s payoff. I still decided to get it b'coz of the convertible lip/cheek color which is a really pretty color! Certainly no regrets. PLUS it's really wallet-friendly ($10 USD).

Travel-friendly.

This palette features 4 e/s (shibuya, sake, , kawai) and a convertible lip/cheek color (sakura).

Sakura is a pretty cool-tone pink, which works well with the e/s colors. IMO, this color shows up better on fair to fair-medium skin tones.

Tried on my naked face. I really love how the color looks on me.. (:

Shibuya - a bright matte blue.

- a micro-glittery black.

Sake - light shimmery pale gold

Kawai - a shimmery pink.

Here are the swatches without any using base. I guess these will definitely work better over a base. I did try over Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof 15 Purple and the final look was great!

All in all, it's a nice-to-have palette. Not really a must-have.

Just neutral colors used.

I didn't use black eyeliner as well. Very work appropriate, great for dating *grins* and when you don't feel like having fancy colors (think blue, green, purple, etc) on your eyes *duh*.

The whole look, is well, natural in a sense. You can safely skip the colored lenses, really.

Went to Kko Kko Nara, located near Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Oh, they're famous for their fried chicken btw.

Dinner opening hours start at 530pm and we were their 1st customers ! See -> nobody at sight.

Stoned look coz I was SUPER HUNGRY !

Hmm the ventilation of the place wasn't so good. It's inevitable that we'll smell of Korean food after which =.=

Side dish, I forgot what is this ._.

??, cucumber, kimchi.

Simply no regrets ordering this kimchi soup with pork ! Delicious to the max and very filling too ! There's mushroom, broccoli, tofu, onion, kimchi and belly pork slices :d~ Just add $5 for a bigger serving. The soup is so good that we literally finished every single bit, no kidding ! Heavenly, divine~

Rice set which comes with fried egg and the round thingy I dunno what izzit =.= Looks like luncheon meat eh.

And so, fried chicken is their specialty. At 1st, it did sound pretty weird to me coz I'll think of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) instead. We ordered the soy garlic sauce fried chicken. Guess how much this dish cost ? $20++ !! Freaking expensive !! BUT damn freaking delicious as well !! Imagine paying $5 for a chicken wing. DOTS. It's best to visit Kko Kko Nara during lunch time coz they've food items that ain't available during dinner time. PLUS the price of food items are cheaper during lunch time !

eyes:

• bourjois effet lumiere eyeshadow trio orange divin 52: it's my 1st time using orange color so much on my eye makeup simply because i don't fancy orange color lol hmm.. decided to try out this eyeshadow trio and i'm loving how it actually brings out a cheerful glow to my entire look.

 

• nature republic prism star sparkling eyeshadow SYL303 (gold): i've been using alot of this recently. it's great as a overall eye highlighter without being overly shimmery. alternatively, it can be used to highlight just the browbone area.

 

• stila face luminizer - sun highlighter: this can really multi-task. here, i used this on the middle lid area so the overall look won't be so boring imo :p

 

• too faced shadow insurance: i used this to prep the eye area to help the eye makeup stay longer without creasing. i prefer this to the etude house one.

 

• kate powder gel liner N BR-1: i like that it's quick drying and it stays on & on without smudging ! it's easy to draw as well with the given liner brush.

 

• etude house eye glow pencil 2: i used it at the lower lashline so that my eyes will appear larger than usual.

 

• Nature Republic Prism Star Sparkling Eye Shadow in SYL303: i simply love this ! will definitely repurchase if i don't feel like trying out other new brow products :p

 

• lancôme amplicils waterproof 02 brun: i love lancome mascaras. so far, i've not encountered any major problems with 'em except that their prices are on the higher end -,- this mascara can hold curls well. there's no clumping at all ! great in volumizing my lashes.

 

face:

• skin79 absolute total bb cream spf37 pa+++: it's very easy to blend with medium coverage, so i safely skip the concealer. the overall look is a slight dewy finish. i love the fact that it helps in brightening my complexion pretty well and i don't need to apply sunblock prior to this.

 

• sephora matifying powder foundation light 20 (d20 warm nude): nuff' said about this LOL *review*

 

• mac peachykeen blush: to many, it's quite comparable to nars orgasm. umm i don't own nars orgasm so no comments lol this is a beautiful peachy coral color. the shimmery finish is just right and this color compliments my skin tone perfectly.
