Not a look I'll usually do.

For this look, I didn't use any eye primer. I applied SMH e/s (Protege) lightly on the eye area as the base color, then intensify the color more at the lid area. The burnish red effect at the outer crease area is created by layering SMH e/s (Bondage) on top. Blending is the key. The tinge of silverish color is SMH e/s (Electra-fied) just above the upper lash line. To define the eyes, I used Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner close to the upper lash line with a slight wing. For the bottom lashline, I used Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof (15 Purple).

To add some oomph to my eye lashes, I curled 'em using Koji eyelash curler no.73 before applying Kiss Me Heroine Make Volume & Curl Mascara. I layered on Fasio Hyper-Stay Mascara Magne-Plus Curl Volume to define the lashes.

Eyebrows: Shu Uemura Hard 9 Brown 03 Eyebrow Pencil & KATE Eyebrow Color LB-1

This was the LOTD I had on the day of the FORD Supermodel Singapore 2011 Media Event. I decided to have a rainbow theme. Hmm.. More colors for my eye makeup (I mean). And, check out my super long lashes! Yes, fake ones (duh). LOL.

What's on my face. The title says it all: Maybelline BB Cream. Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals BB Cream SPF 26/PA+++ (Fresh) to be specific. Received this at the Bloggers' event and I've used it for several times. So, time for a review!

On to my review. For me, the BB cream texture is just right (not too thick, not too runny). Best thing? Blends effortlessly, giving my face a really nice brightening touch. A dewy finish, certainly not matte. No sticky feel. Oil control not that fantastic, not THAT bad as well. Coverage wise, is quite good (for me). Evens out my skin tone well. However, there's a need for a separate concealer if you want perfect full-coverage.

"Fresh" is a good match for me (NC20), and I find it really easy to apply. You know some BB creams ain't easy to apply and often leaves an ugly white cast. I find it rather disturbing, seeing ladies with ashy-looking faces on photos as well as in real life. DO NOT use a much lighter shade and think you'll look fairer. That's NOT the way. Trust me. Thankfully, Maybelline BB Cream doesn't make me look ashy. Agree much?

While the Maybelline BB Cream promises 8 Healthy Skin Benefits, namely Hydration, Skin Elasticity, Reduced Redness, Natural Radiance, Clarity, Smoothness, Reduced Pore Size, Reduced Dullness. I don't know about Skin Elasticity. Don't think it helps much in that aspect. Overall, it fulfills 7 out of 8 benefits (IMO). Not bad eh. I like that it doesn't have any peculiar scent to it. Oh, the price is super wallet-friendly ($16.90). Even better when there's promotion going on! eg. $13.52 after 20% discount. You won't regret purchasing this! (:

The lenses I had on was super uncomfortable. Made me tear non-stop :/ I discarded 'em after just using 'em twice. It was supposed to last me for months! And, I didn't like the stupid eyeliner. The one I used to line my bottom lashline. Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil Liner BK999, from the Chapter 30: Sugary Trap Collection. I love BR611 so much, yet I hate this black one to the core. Why?! :/

It smudges and flakes badly on me. Doesn't apply on smoothly. I hate it. Period.

Went to Bakerzin after watching this German movie, "Rabbit Without Ears 2".

Enjoyed the movie though I I don't even know what they're talking about. Lucky there's subtitles :D Hilarious, laughed out loud all the way.

We had Bakerzin Sweet Pleasure, a pretty delectable hazelnut chocolate layered cake dessert. Savored every single bit.

Love these oh-so-delicious Baked Chicken Wings ! Best dipped with the sauce provided. Heavenly, I tell you ! :d~

After MONTHS & MONTHS of WAITING & WAITING, I finally get my SMH eyeshadows. BUT NOT ALL. FRESH, according to her was OOS. I do understand that SMH customer service is really THAT bad. But then again, many had problems with the person who conducted the spree. Some of the common problems were: not able to get back refunds despite numerous reminders, unable to contact (be it thru' sms-es, emails, calls, PM-s !!). I can't help but wonder if I'll get any refund for my OOS e/s or will the e/s arrive safely in prolly months' time ?? Well, I'm THAT accommodating that I traveled all the way to the west to collect the e/s instead of opting for mail. It was my 1st time joining OnSugar spree and it wasn't a good one. I believe there're others who have worse experience(s) as compared to mine. Oh well ..

Shade 21 though it's tad fair for me but it looks more natural after oxidization. The powder is really fine and it helps to keep my makeup looking fresh and shine-free for hours.

After the Bio-essence event ended, I went to meetup with my gf. Initially thought of just going for some caffeine fix at Coffee & Toast (Citylink Mall). We somehow ended at a place where we shouldn't be x:

No, not KFC. We went to Chicking (Marina Square). Jessie recommended this place as the chicken meat is tender and juicy :d~ YUM YUM ! And not oily, I like ! We shared the 2pc chicken meal as we did have lunch. Umm this was a mini tea break LOL

 

The meal consists of chicken ribs (her favorite), chicken drumstick (my favorite), whipped potato x 2 & ice lemon tea. $6.50 but we paid only $5.50 coz got discount coupon :p

KFC, Popeyes, Arnold's, Chicking. Which one you prefer ?

Chicking whipped potato has a buttery taste which I like. BUT I don't like the brown gravy. Luckily, Jessie's preference is exact opposite xD

A few hours later, Kelvin picked ups up and drove us to Golden Mile Food Centre for dinner.

I had the famous Chung Cheng Prawn Mee (dry). Generous serving indeed for just $3 ! See the amount of chilli o.O There's prawn, pork ribs, sliced eggs, tau pok. Not the best I'd eaten so far. The soup was pretty good (refillable somemore). I still ♥ Beach Road Prawn Noodle House !

Jessie's favorite famous 91 Char Kway Teow, which I don't really like much. Rather healthy coz of the veggies added, without pork/lard sounds so wrong =.= I still prefer the sinful version with lotsa pork/lard x:

I like that it's non sticky and gives my lips a fuller look. I love this pink on me and the awesome shimmers ♥ It stays on pretty well and my lips did feel moisturized. No annoying scent. The downside is none other than the rather bulky packaging. That's about it. Thanks for reading (:
