My LOTD for the Kanebo Freshel Bloggers' Event.

For this LOTD, I'd used only the eyeshadows from the Majolica Majorca Midnight Dresser Palette #11 Glamorous Makeup Dresser (Ltd Ed X'mas 2009). Had gotten this during the Shiseido Sale last year for $5 (?). I wasn't impressed with the cardboard packaging and definitely would not wanna pay full price for it. I do appreciate that the ltd ed collection palettes (in future) will have better sturdier packaging. The shimmery silver and charcoal grey e/s colors are rather sheer and they crease on me (as shown above). FYI, I didn't use any primer prior e/s application.

I'm back with a dated LOTD post! I wore this look for the FORD Supermodel Singapore 2011 Finals. That night, I was wearing this black layered tube dress. Super pretty right?! (esp. the model >.<)

Here's my look. No fake lashes coz I was in a rush. My real lashes ain't THAT bad anyway (lol).

I totally love the radiant look, thanks to Kanebo Freshel White C BB Cream! Will be doing a proper review soon (draft "sitting" in the folder :x). I purchased this earlier this year at Watsons for only $23 I think. An awesome buy indeed. It's in my top must-have BB Creams list!

Have I told y'all that I'm pretty much in love with Illamasqua Blush (Kiss)? It gives me the "after-2.4km-run" slightly flushed cheeks ♥ One needs to be light-handed when applying the blush as it's pretty pigmented. It looks so much better on the face than on the pan! Illamasqua blushers never seem to fail me and I'm definitely lemmin' for moreee!

This was the LOTD I had on the day of the FORD Supermodel Singapore 2011 Media Event. I decided to have a rainbow theme. Hmm.. More colors for my eye makeup (I mean). And, check out my super long lashes! Yes, fake ones (duh). LOL.

What's on my face. The title says it all: Maybelline BB Cream. Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals BB Cream SPF 26/PA+++ (Fresh) to be specific. Received this at the Bloggers' event and I've used it for several times. So, time for a review!

On to my review. For me, the BB cream texture is just right (not too thick, not too runny). Best thing? Blends effortlessly, giving my face a really nice brightening touch. A dewy finish, certainly not matte. No sticky feel. Oil control not that fantastic, not THAT bad as well. Coverage wise, is quite good (for me). Evens out my skin tone well. However, there's a need for a separate concealer if you want perfect full-coverage.

"Fresh" is a good match for me (NC20), and I find it really easy to apply. You know some BB creams ain't easy to apply and often leaves an ugly white cast. I find it rather disturbing, seeing ladies with ashy-looking faces on photos as well as in real life. DO NOT use a much lighter shade and think you'll look fairer. That's NOT the way. Trust me. Thankfully, Maybelline BB Cream doesn't make me look ashy. Agree much?

While the Maybelline BB Cream promises 8 Healthy Skin Benefits, namely Hydration, Skin Elasticity, Reduced Redness, Natural Radiance, Clarity, Smoothness, Reduced Pore Size, Reduced Dullness. I don't know about Skin Elasticity. Don't think it helps much in that aspect. Overall, it fulfills 7 out of 8 benefits (IMO). Not bad eh. I like that it doesn't have any peculiar scent to it. Oh, the price is super wallet-friendly ($16.90). Even better when there's promotion going on! eg. $13.52 after 20% discount. You won't regret purchasing this! (:

The lenses I had on was super uncomfortable. Made me tear non-stop :/ I discarded 'em after just using 'em twice. It was supposed to last me for months! And, I didn't like the stupid eyeliner. The one I used to line my bottom lashline. Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil Liner BK999, from the Chapter 30: Sugary Trap Collection. I love BR611 so much, yet I hate this black one to the core. Why?! :/

It smudges and flakes badly on me. Doesn't apply on smoothly. I hate it. Period.

Today, I woke up feeling really moody. Prolly the time-of-the-month symptoms are showing? Hmm..

I'm not good at pretending to be happy. My emotions are shown on my face. I'm pretty straight-forward. A little bit over though. If I don't like you, my face will show everything. Vice versa.

I'm having a bad skin day. Pores. Fine lines. Pimple. Blackheads. Whiteheads. Milia seeds. Pigmentation. Oiliness. Dehydration. ETC.

Whatever you can think of. Really.

On a happier note, I'll be changing my hair color tmr! Technically speaking is today since now is past midnight. Will be having vibrant red head most probably ♥ At least something worth being happy ^^ Jones, Chantana and Chantana's sis will be coloring their hair too! Okay done with my moody post. Ciaos~

It's been 2 weeks since I last blogged about my LOTD. Think I'd not been THAT experimental with colors. Hmm.. I should incorporate more colors in my LOTD-s, yes? This time, another brown themed LOTD (again). Btw I wore this look to the Murad Hybrids Event.

The main product (for eyes) I used was Kate Gel Shadow BR-1. I would describe the color as more of a copper brown with red undertones. I layered on Lunasol Nature Color Eyes 04 Nature Beige. For my brows, the usual Majolica Majorca Customize Sword Cut BR771, then KATE Eyebrow Color LB-1. To complete the eye makeup, I used Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner (1 of my favorite liquid liners), as well as Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara. FYI, I didn't use any eye primer.

MAC MSF Smooth Merge for my cheeks. It's more of a highlight than a full-on blusher. The coverage is buildable but too much will look overly frosty. I do like this MSF pretty much. And I got this for a steal :x

For my face, I used Lancôme Color Ideal Foundation. I forgot what's the shade but it's darker than my skin tone. I applied the foundation after using YSL Complexion Enhancer Oil Free No.2 Rose Pearl as base. Chacott Finishing Powder 753 to set the foundation.

Au naturel lips! :p

Dots. I looked as if I got xiaolongbaos x2, in my mouth o>.<o

It was a night of SUPER FULL makeup for me since I was gonna club with my friends. It had been quite awhile since I clubbed! AGE is definitely catching up on me. I no longer have the urge to club as frequently as before. Ahh.. I can't believe I'll be hitting my 30s in just a few years' time T^T

Dazzling shimmery eyes accompanied with pink flushed cheeks and nudey pink lips.

Sephora Perfection Primer, followed by Lancôme Teint Miracle Foundation PO-3. Coffret D'or Beauty Essence Pact to set the foundation. My cheeks -> Red Earth Cheeky Flirt (Foxy Lady) x Melliesh Cheek Color 02 Baby Peach. To highlight my face, I used MAC MSF (By Candlelight).

My eye makeup is achieved with Lunasol Nature Color Eyes in 01 Nature Blue, which I used in a LOTD last year. Prior using the eyeshadow palette, I used Benefit Stay Don't Stray to prime my eye area. On my entire eye area, I applied the shimmery light yellow color (Lunasol) and then the shimmery light mint color (Lunasol) on the lids. For upper and bottom lashline, I used the cool brown color (Lunasol) to define my eyes. As for the inner corners of my eyes, I used the shimmery light yellow color (Lunasol) again. Lioele Artist Auto Eyebrow #3 Grey Black for my brows. My trusty L'oreal SuperLiner (black) for my all-time favorite winged eye look ♥

And, I'm happy to announce I'd found another HG mascara combination (apart from my all-time favorite Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl x Sasatinnie Super Dolly Powerful Curling Mascara combi). Do note that I've the habit to curl my lashes before using mascara, which I did in this case. I wasn't born with beautifully curled lashes (:

My lashes look UBER DOLLY-LIKE, yes-yes?? Super volumized, lengthened, black. NO-NO, I wasn't wearing fake lashes!

And so, my new HG mascara combination is:

Using my lousy iPhone camera function which simply can't take decent night photos, here are the few okay photos. No clubbing photos, ya know why =.=

Me and my friends wanted to go Butterfactory BUT it was FULL HOUSE :/ So, we went to a random bar to drink something 1st. Actually I wasn't too keen on clubbing that night. I just wanna laze at home as usual, watching random movies online. My 2 pretty friends wanted me to join 'em and I had to give 'em face. I'm one who easily gives in :s

And, I gotta know 2 new guy friends that night. AND again, I was the oldest among 'em. Thanks really ar. The 86s and 87s =.= Glad that it was truly a fun night afterall.

Hmm.. these chicken wings not nice at all :s I enjoyed eating the sweet crunchy celery and carrot sticks though.

They ordered Erdinger, one of my favorite beers.

Oh ya, we were at OverEasy. The guys had a friend working there, hence we had discount on our orders :p

My Strawberry Margarita which tasted not so bad BUT I still prefer Cafe Iguana's!

And so, after OverEasy, we headed to Shanghai Dolly. That was my 1st time. Had Martell on the rock, more beer, red bull vodka. Didn't drink-drank-drunk, thankfully. BUT KJ said I did doze off for 10mins...... which I had no idea at all. At least, I remembered mostly what happened. My friends were gone by then :x Uber happening night, I must say. I think I won't be clubbing for quite sometime? Till then ♥

But then again, many had problems with the person who conducted the spree. Some of the common problems were: not able to get back refunds despite numerous reminders, unable to contact (be it thru' sms-es, emails, calls, PM-s !!). I can't help but wonder if I'll get any refund for my OOS e/s or will the e/s arrive safely in prolly months' time ?? Well, I'm THAT accommodating that I traveled all the way to the west to collect the e/s instead of opting for mail. It was my 1st time joining OnSugar spree and it wasn't a good one. I believe there're others who have worse experience(s) as compared to mine. Oh well ..

LOTDs are kinda days back.. so here goes..

 

this is more of a romantic sweet look as purples & pinks are used in this look.. for the LOTD, i'm using lunasol shining eyes EX04 shining beige for the base, l'oreal colorappeal trio pro 309 rose mauve(unavailable in stores anymore.. i only use the purple & pink, ignore the 1st), l'oreal colorappeal 20 sky blue(which dint reali show up much), clarins eye shimmer limited ed 02 silver(more of white to me).. i'm using stage eye liner 01 backstage black.. i've been using this for some time.. it's not reali a favourite.. umm i dont dislike it that much as well.. the texture is fine & it glides well on my lids without tugging the delicate skin.. i would say that the staying power is not that gd but ironically i dint have to touch up when i used stage brown eye liner.. so gd that it's gonna be used up pretty soon.. i'm gonna get that again when stage is having $10 sales :x for lashes, i'm using majolica majorca's lash bone white fiber.. it's reali veryveryvery gd for priming the lashes b4 use.. it's a must-buy ! i got a backup for this awhile b4 the arrival of the black fiber -,- and, i use shu uemura limited ed gold eye lash curler to curl my lashes btw.. hr glorious macara 01 star black.. i got this sometime back @ robinson expo sale for $20 i tink.. i definitely wont pay retail price for this coz it'll be damn expensive.. it's quite an average mascara so far(using it for the 1st time).. for eyebrow, it'll be the same everytime so do refer to my previous LOTD for more info (: yups dats abt it..

i'm using alobon bake blush 03. i bought a couple of alobon blushers after i read awesome review abt them.. esp in kimoko blog.. i'm loving them so much for the quality & of coz the incredibly low prices.. $7.90 only !! u can hop down to mustafa 24hr shopping center to grab them ;D see that subtle lovely glow on my cheeks ? aren't u convinced enuff ? :p

for face, i'm using l'oreal uv protector (anti-dullness, brightens up skin), clinique air-brush concealer 04 neutral fair(see that it suits my skin tone perfectly hahas.. blends very well.. it doesn't make my under-eye area look cakey.. overall, i like it pretty much.. it retails for $32 i tink) & za 2-way foundation powder shade 20 (tad fair but it looks fine after it oxidised..)

next up is a simple LOTD sans eye shadow :x

the glittery part @ the lower eye area, i'm using lid splash in lavender.. i love eye shimmers, glitters, anything which is sparkling & bling-bling :p

oh, this is a picture-heavy post. my recent makeup hauls, lovely freebies & not forgetting LOTD (dated 2 days ago). ah, i've been hauling alot. really alot =,= and, i've jus signed up for a 3-yr kino membership card. i need more $$$ =,=

this is an unexpected haul from shu uemura, definitely. last min, i wanted to buy a eyebrow mascara so badly. dun ask me y. coz idk too =,= anyway, with the limited time i had & after searching several stores. i decided to try my luck @ the shu uemura stand-alone store @ ion orchard. i chose tawny gold as it lightens & brightens my eyebrow color. i like it alot btw. i dint ask for the price, jus wanna pay for it & go off. but the mua had to tell me there's a promo gg on. purchase $120, $10 off. so i asked for her recommendation & she recommended me the highly raved beige mousse base. the base is a primer for helping foundation last longer & to brighten up complexion. i like the mousse texture, caved in (: so both added up to $110 after $10 off. finally, i added a brush cleanser(my very first also) so that i could be their member. in all, i spent $123 unexpectedly =,=

this is my sephora haul before shu uemura's. i bought my very first foundation brush from sephora & the 'always oos' too faced shadow insurance. and, i haven't even start using urban decay primer potion yet =,= the cashier gal was so nice ! bcoz she gave me skincare samples & sephora smoothing primer samples when i asked if there's any :p i've been wanting to try the smoothing primer as it's supposed to mattify & smooth my skin. yeah can finally try it !

bought dhc acne cream to try as i've been having breakouts @ my forehead hairline recently. free deluxe size cleansing oil. i was told this gwp was available in only flagship stores eg. ngee ann city outlet.

BRTC glossy shining bb cream ! the nice sweet lady kept reminding me to use sponge for application coz the texture is lil' thick. i'll definitely heed ur advice, no worries (: not forgetting the lovely china glaze nail polishes(my very firsts). kinda excited to use them hehe.

there's the nyx blush, jesse's girl e/s(look more like a blusher to me), tarte lipglosses(my very firsts), loreal e/s quad, za duo e/s, za mascara. notice the color combinations ? the mauve pinkish & the green bluish.
