In this post, I'll be featuring my LOTD (The Day Look) using Too Faced Naked Eye (Soft & Sexy Eye Shadow Collection).

I followed the step-by-step instruction card provided.

• Sweep In The Buff from lashes to brow.
• Press Pillow Talk onto the eyelid.
• Blend Like A Virgin into the crease and outer lashline.

 

On my face, I applied my favorite-of-the-moment Skin79 Vital Orange BB Cream (a review coming real soon!). It pretty much covers up my flaws. There isn't any need for a separate concealer unless I want a really full coverage. This coverage is more than enough for me (:

For soft-looking brows, I used Shu Uemura Hard Formula Eyebrow Pencil Hard 9 Brown 03. For natural-looking lashes, I first applied Etude House Oh~ m'Eye Lash Mascara Base (Petticoat) then 1 coat of Covergirl Professional Remarkable Washable Waterproof Mascara (Very Black).

I used K-Palette Real Lasting 24h Eyeliner in Deep Brown (♥ this color!) to line my upper lashline, extending the line slightly at the end. For my lower lashline, I used Essence Longlasting Eye Pencil 01 BLACK FEVER.

I lightly dust my HG Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Sand Medium 0-1 only on the T-zone area. For some color on my cheeks, I used my favorite Lavshuca Blush PK-1.

The finished look is very neutral, I like :D No regrets on getting the Too Faced Naked Eye Palette!

Some of the common problems were: not able to get back refunds despite numerous reminders, unable to contact (be it thru' sms-es, emails, calls, PM-s !!). I can't help but wonder if I'll get any refund for my OOS e/s or will the e/s arrive safely in prolly months' time ?? Well, I'm THAT accommodating that I traveled all the way to the west to collect the e/s instead of opting for mail. It was my 1st time joining OnSugar spree and it wasn't a good one. I believe there're others who have worse experience(s) as compared to mine. Oh well ..

After the Bio-essence event ended, I went to meetup with my gf. Initially thought of just going for some caffeine fix at Coffee & Toast (Citylink Mall). We somehow ended at a place where we shouldn't be x:

No, not KFC. We went to Chicking (Marina Square). Jessie recommended this place as the chicken meat is tender and juicy :d~ YUM YUM ! And not oily, I like ! We shared the 2pc chicken meal as we did have lunch. Umm this was a mini tea break LOL

 

The meal consists of chicken ribs (her favorite), chicken drumstick (my favorite), whipped potato x 2 & ice lemon tea. $6.50 but we paid only $5.50 coz got discount coupon :p

KFC, Popeyes, Arnold's, Chicking. Which one you prefer ?

Chicking whipped potato has a buttery taste which I like. BUT I don't like the brown gravy. Luckily, Jessie's preference is exact opposite xD

A few hours later, Kelvin picked ups up and drove us to Golden Mile Food Centre for dinner.

I had the famous Chung Cheng Prawn Mee (dry). Generous serving indeed for just $3 ! See the amount of chilli o.O There's prawn, pork ribs, sliced eggs, tau pok. Not the best I'd eaten so far. The soup was pretty good (refillable somemore). I still ♥ Beach Road Prawn Noodle House !

Jessie's favorite famous 91 Char Kway Teow, which I don't really like much. Rather healthy coz of the veggies added, without pork/lard sounds so wrong =.= I still prefer the sinful version with lotsa pork/lard x:

I like that it's non sticky and gives my lips a fuller look. I love this pink on me and the awesome shimmers ♥ It stays on pretty well and my lips did feel moisturized. No annoying scent. The downside is none other than the rather bulky packaging. That's about it. Thanks for reading (:

My favorite color, purple ♥

I bought KATE Diamond Cut Eyes PU-1, mainly for the beautiful royal purple color.

Top left: Pale gold/silver (glittery)

Top right: White (shimmery)

Bottom left: Lilac (shimmery)

Bottom right: Royal purple (shimmery)

Love the colors and the silky smooth texture ! The colors are very well-pigmented, as compared to that of Integrate (used in my previous LOTD). Hmm they are not THAT intense, since Japanese makeup tends to lean towards shimmery subtle colors' look. Now, I'm VERY tempted to get prolly 1 or 2 more of the KATE Diamond Cut Eyes palette(s) x:

Lilac (shimmery), Royal purple (shimmery), White (shimmery), Pale silver (glittery), Pale gold (glittery).

This palette is easy to work with, and the colors blend pretty well (: There ain't any major fall-outs for the glittery e/s colors. And, they definitely add a dazzling touch to my eye makeup look.

This is my very 1st LOTD of 2011. For this LOTD, I used Integrate Winter 2010 Rainbow Grade Eyes Limited Edition for the 1st time. Frankly speaking, I wasn't THAT impressed with this eye palette (seriously). I got this thanks to Christie (:

I really love how this photo turns out. Random, hahas (X

Pardon my super messy fringe :p I'm lovin' my EOS Pink Flower Series lenses to bits !

The colors are real sheer, and it takes several layers of application to really see the colors =.=

That's my real lashes, coated with the new Rimmel Great Curl Volume Mascara. Not waterproof btw. Love at 1st try !

I also tried the new super duper fine Rimmel liquid eyeliner (OOS at NAC Watsons). It is TOO fine for my liking coz I love to draw thickly for my monolids. And so, I bought the 2nd last piece of the mascara :p Yes, the volumizing effect is amazing ! I believe the curl effect will be much better if it's waterproof version. Not much clumping though I applied several layers to get my desired lashes. Separates my lashes nicely. The black is very intense, I like !

I did try it on Jessie's lashes and her eyes appear bigger (; She didn't get the mascara, not a impulse buyer like me hahas xD

MAC Viva Glam Cyndi on my lips. The color is redder actually. Perfect for a subtle red lips look ! Very wearable, at least to me :p

Integrate Winter 2010 Rainbow Grade Eyes Limited Edition.

Get what I mean by really sheer colors ? Those who love eyeshadow colors to be intense/pigmented, should steer clear of this. For the swatches, I layer at least 2-3 times. There's not much contrast among the lighter colors, except for the "darkest" bronzey brown color. I like the rainbow powder which is more shimmery than the rest but it'll be MUCH better if the color is more pigmented. Not very pink eh.

Hmm overall, it's still pretty good for makeup beginners and those who prefer a much simple and pleasant look. You won't go wrong using this (;

Pink swirl blush from Muji.

I prefer this to the "Shu Uemura" lookalike one coz the color payoff is sooo much better ! The other one works more like a highlighter IMO. Very pretty pink, isn't it ? Adds a flush of pink on my chubby cheeks :D See the fine shimmers ? What's not to like ? :p

Chantana, Jones, Jessie and me met up on X'mas day for a girlie outing ♥ And so, the place was set at NEX (alight at Serangoon MRT station). I thought it would take me an hour to reach BUT in fact, the journey took less than 40mins ! It was damn crowded =.= And, I noticed there's F&B on EVERY level of the mall. The best thing was though we stayed there for around 8hrs, we only managed to comb 1/4 of the mall ! AND, we did spent quite a fair bit. Can't imagine how much will we spend if we comb the entire NEX x: Fun and fruitful trip ! Love spending time with my lovelies ♥

Freshness Burger (suggested by Chantana) was our 1st stop. I was damn hungry as this was my 1st meal of the day. Short of one drink coz Jessie not there yet.

I had "small" lemonade. Umm .. quite a normal but expensive drink. It's $3.80 or $4.20.

My Freshness Burger. The taste was alright, didn't really WOW me over. The bun was different from the usual ones. Kinda sweet. The size reminds me of MOS ones. Mark my words, the price kills.

We ordered EXTRAS x: BUT the quantity was pathetic. No doubt the onion rings taste pretty good, but I won't order again for that price. Nearly $4 I think.

Nuggets, quite normal. I think nearly $6 I think. We spent more than $10 each, with still space for more food =.=

And, we went off to walk walk, shop shop shortly after Jessie reached. More about the hauling part later (:

Dinner was settled at Ramen Play. Now then I know, Din Tai Fung, Food Republic, Ramen Play, The Icing Room, Toast Box, Breadtalk are "connected". I only knew Toast Box and Breadtalk are "connected". No wonder, Toast Box and The Icing Room are located side by side at Tampines One. Interesting, at least to me hahas xD

Oh, I had the Tonkotsu Ramen. Filling and satisfying much (: It'll be even better if the egg's more runny. The soup base wasn't too salty, the noodles were cooked just right. The pork meat was on the fatty side, BUT I like :d~

Jessie and Chantana had the Spicky Tonkotsu Ramen. Just a dollar difference for the spicy kick (;

Jones had the Sanpou Tonkotsu Ramen. Super filling !

EXTRA order to be shared (again) :p RamenPlay Dango (minced chicken balls in takoyaki style). Quite normal to me, prolly b'coz I don't really fancy minced meat balls x:

Oh my, I think my photo-taking skill is awesome x: Very BHB I know, but this photo of 'em really very nice right (at least in my eyes lol) ?? It seemed as though we were holiday-ing somewhere, not in Sg. I like I like (;

Hmm I think the photo of us at Chantana's post looks better ? I think my LOTD was weird T^T It's as though I didn't sleep for days !

Last stop was at Starbucks. Short of one drink (again). Jessie left early to spend time with her bf :D

"Love" knuckle duster ring from Diva sales for $7. It was love at first sight hahas (X Pretty gold color and I love the font.

I also got myself this dark red diamante bracelet bangle for only $7 ! A steal, since the usual price was $24 :p

Side-track. I didn't get these at NEX. Since I was taking photos of my rings, why not include 'em in this lil' haul entry. Well, I got 'em at Orchard Cineleisure. I love the "dice" ring very much, quite unique IMO. It was the last piece left (;

I couldn't resist getting the "bunny" ring with tiny "bunny" attached. There was this dark gray color one, but I prefer this ivory white one.

 

Chanel Les Tentations de Chanel Holiday 2010 Collection (Limited Edition). I didn't get the entire collection (I wished). I already gotten the Pink Pulsion Levres Scintillantes/Glossimer (yet to be featured). Beautiful sheer fuschia color. It was sold out everywhere, I was lucky that there were still 2 left at Isetan (Parkway Parade). Many thanks to the friendly Chanel girl (MBS outlet) who helped me call, check and reserve (; Well, I did purchase something from her coz I like her service personality.

 

ISETAN

This Tweed Fuschia Blush was sold out everywhere. Since the Chanel counter is new in Isetan (NEX), I was lucky enough to get it ♥ $69, but I paid $65ish, using Jessie's Isetan card. I also got $5 cash voucher (with every $50 purchase).

See the shimmery gold bits ?! I love the tweed effect, the lovely fuschia color with hints of gold and the new brush is unlike the old one which feels harsh on my skin. Too pretty for me to start using, but I'll use it soon :p

 

WATSONS

Chantana, Jones and me got this Kate Gel Eyebrow LB-1 since it was on 20% discount. Usual price was $19. Loving Kate makeup !

Revlon Super Lustrous Creme lipsticks - 463 Sassy Mauve and 473 Mauvy Night. BOGO ! In fact, the promotion was already over and I wasn't aware since the promotion tag was still there :p $17.90 for both.

Canmake Cream Cheek 09, a pretty sweet baby pink with no shimmers at all. The PLUS point is it's limited edition ! $15.90 after $2 discount.

 

SASA

This was what I intended to buy, which meant the rest of the 'em are.. well due to temptations =.= Yeah, new big nail clipper hahas (X $1.65 only.

Sana Pore Putty Face Powder Clear. Chantana recommended this coz her sis said it's better than MAC Blot Powder and she's on her 3rd one for now ! $24.90 before 20% discount, far cheaper alternative. Better ? I can't say that for now.

Sana Natural Resource Loose Powder UV SPF19 PA++. Highly recommended by Chantana (again). Aiyo, she made me spent more than I intended hahas xD The powder puff was really soft and I like that it's abit shimmery. $39.90 before 20% discount.

We were about to leave NEX but we went in since it was still opened. Bad move eh. I ended up with these. Buy 2 Get 1 FREE.

I set my eyes on this - DearDarlingNails BLINGBLING WH004. Shimmery black with hints of teal. I'm bad at describing colors =.= AND, I thought it's $7.90 but actually, it's $11.90 *faints*. I noticed it only after I reached home. Expensive !!
