As always, my eye look is the focus of this LOTD. I love pigmented eyeshadows. For a change, I'm going all subtle for this look.

Eyes:

• MAC Crush Metal Pigments: Stacked 2 (metallic gold) over the lid area and lower lashline.
• Stila Belle of the Ball Palette (shimmery aqua green) on the eye contour, (shimmery white) on the brow bone
• Sana Gafixx Matsuge Gatch-ly Mascara on curled lashes (upper and lower)
• Majolica Majorca Customize Sword Cut BR771 to fill brows, KATE Eyebrow Color LB-1 to lighten brow color
• K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner 01 Black for the upper lashline & the "lower lashes"

Lips:

• Maybelline Watershine Pure Lipstick B23

Face:

• Gowoonsesang Brightening Balm SPF30 PA++
• Palgantong Theatrical Powder (Pearl Beige)

Have you noticed that Korean actresses all look so naturally flawless, with their barely there makeup. It is no secret that most of 'em have gone under the knife (plastic surgery). Makeup is still pretty much needed to bring out their (surgically-enhanced) features.

And so, the Basic Korean Style Makeup Look is all about having that flawless, glowy complexion. I've particularly noticed their thick, straight brows. Their eyes are subtly defined (minimal or no eyeshadow, lightly mascara-ed lashes). Natural color for the lips.

I'm using the following products to achieve the Basic Korean Style Makeup Look:-

As you can see, I didn't use many products for this look. Everything was kept fairly simple.

BB Cream, is a must. Gowoonsesang Brightening Balm SPF30 PA++ does the job for achieving flawless complexion. Palgantong Theatrical Powder (Pearl Beige) is lightly applied to set the makeup for that lovely glow.

To conceal my dark eye circles, I used the illuminator part of Lancôme Rénergie Yeux Multiple Lift.

Lancôme Le Crayon Sourcils (Brun).

No eyeshadow was used. Using K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner 01 Black, I drew thinly, as close to the (upper) lashline as possible (slightly winged out at the end). For my right eye, I drew a lil' thicker to balance out the eye look. I lined the lower lashline,with Barry M Intense Black Eyeliner Pen.

Only 1 coat of L'oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara (Black) was used for my upper and lower lashes, to naturally define 'em. I did curl my lashes beforehand, just that the mascara didn't hold the curls well :/

I merely smeared on Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, for a light sheen on my lips. To finish the look, I used Canmake Powder Cheeks PW20 for a natural pink flush on my cheeks.

Just some new finds at Watsons & Sasa. Spotted more new stuff recently but didn't manage to take any pics.

Lollipops Paris. Didn't explore much... There's single eyeshadows, nail colors, lip products, etc.

Mag (makeupstash) did a post on their 3D eyeshadow palette (READ HERE). Quite expensive, in my opinion. A pretty (single e/s) palette nevertheless.

I don't know about you. But, I think Majolica Majorca has been quite uninteresting so far, no? The lack of new products and such.

The lastest Glass Trick Collection features:- Lash Expander Frame Plus Mascara in Blue Black (limited edition), Dress Glove Cream (limited edition), Honey Pump Gloss NEO in Secretly and Lace. The handcream does smell lovely to me, a sweet fruity scent that most girls will like.

Canmake, the brand which constantly come up with new interesting products. The prices might be heavily marked up in S'pore. Well, there's always 20% promotion every now and then (:

Their latest product - Canmake Moist Souffle Shadows. Highly shimmery/glittery. Retails for SGD$19.90 *gasp*

These sets are really ideal for X'mas gifts. Great value-for-$! A set like this (see above image), retails for SGD$19.90.

This set retails for $20ish. Comes with so many makeup goodies!

If you don't already know, CLIO is now in S'pore. Not the entire range though.

Here's the smoky look I did, using DOT DOT Smoky Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette (featured HERE).

The close-up eye look, without mascara. I filled my brow gaps using Majolica Majorca Customize Sword Cut BR771.

No eye primer was used. I used deep chocolate brown (cream) from the DOT DOT palette (as the lid base), and layered on the darkest brown from Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes BR-2. Then, I applied the medium brown (Lavshuca) on the eye contour, and dusted the gold shimmer shade (DOT DOT) over it.

Using the pearl white shimmer (DOT DOT) & the lightest brown (Lavshuca), I used 'em to highlight brow bone, inner corner of eye & dust some onto 1/3 of the inner lower lashline.

I lined about 1/3 of the outer lower lashline, using K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner (Black). Then, I layered on the darkest brown (Lavshuca). Using the same eyeliner, I lined the upper lashline and extended it beyond the lashline.

I curled my lashes and applied 3 layers of Cyber Colors Ex Volume Waterproof Mascara in Black (1 layer for my lower lashes).

YES, 3! I coat them fast enough, to avoid clumps. So, the key is to work your wand fast! (CLICK HERE for review)

Again, I used Maybelline Moisture Extreme 914 Iced Peach Tea for my lips.

Works well with the smoky look, no?

For my face, I used Sasa HD Perfect Foundation 02 Warm Ivory and Lioele Real Crystal Twin Cake 02. On my cheeks, Canmake Powder Cheeks in PW20. (Forgot to include Murad Skin Perfecting Primer - Matte Finish!)

CandyDoll is now available @ Watsons. Price range is $25.90 - $33.90 (correct me if I'm wrong). The product range is quite.. pathetic though.. Only lipglosses, lipsticks, mineral face powder.. That's about it.. -___-"

CandyDoll Mineral Face Powder in Crystal Pearl. The powder feels soft and finely-milled.

As seen from the pics, the powder has very fine shimmers. Heard alot of raves about this product. So I might get it eventually? FYI, there's a normal version with no shimmers.

I swatched CandyDoll Lipgloss in Macaroon Pink and Peach Orange. The top right corner swatch is CandyDoll Highlight - Cream Beige.

ZA launched a series of mascaras, eyeliners recently.

I only swatched the eyeliners. Seemed pretty normal to me. A rather intense black. Anyway, I think only the ZA liquid eyeliner is new. The others are repackaged? I know not.

Hmm.. I swatched this CandyDoll Lipstick but I'd no idea what shade is this.. Not stated on the tester.. Milky beige-orange kinda shade..

Canmake's new fake eyelashes with transparent band.. Got a few to choose from..

There're bottom lashes too! $9.90 each.

Okay, let's move on to Guardian. Spotted KATE limited edition eyeshadow palettes ($27 each). I can't seem to find these @ Watsons though.

Pinkish beige-brown shades.

Golden brown shades.

The usual KATE eyeshadow quality. Sheer but buildable colors.

It was a day out with Jones and Chantana nearly 2 weeks ago :D Yeah, we had fun hanging out!

Late lunch (@ 313 food court. I had bak kut teh, my brunch btw), shop around, dessert (@ Cold Stone Creamery), movie (Sucker Punch which sucks, at least to me) and lastly, SUPPER (@ Xin Wang Hong Kong Café)!

OH.. We also got our goodies from Jones, which she kindly helped us to CP from HK. Thanks so much ♥

Dessert time @ Cold Stone Creamery. I wasn't really WOW-ed over this. The same goes for 'em. We find it too sweet overall. Nothing fantastic I guess. Uh disappointed much. Hmm prolly I shall try other Signature Creations next time.

I ordered the Founder's Favorite (combination of Sweet Cream Ice Cream, Pecans, Brownie, Fudge, and Caramel).

They ordered German-chökolätekäke (combination of Chocolate Ice Cream, Pecans, Coconut, Brownie, and Caramel).
