KTV-ing at KBox (Bedok Point) :D

Revisited Chicken Hotpot. Ooo.. they have this complimentary appetizer. Taste good!

Well, the chicken portion is too little (more bones instead of meat). I love the gravy + rice - heavenly combi!

Lunch-ed at Strictly Pancakes for the very 1st time on Saturday.

Xl's favorite to-go-place for pancakes. Apparently, it has mixed reviews at hungrygowhere.com.

Hf & I shared a huge stack (pancakes x 4) for $8.50. Additional sides (chicken chipolata, scrambled eggs & sauteed mushrooms) at $2.50 each.

The huge stack came with this miniscule amount of maple syrup and salted butter :/ Anyway, we had to order another set of butter & maple syrup.. Seriously!

Anyway, the pancakes taste ordinary. The sides too. The maple syrup and salted butter? Meh. Give me McD pancakes anytime. Taste so much better and cheaper too!

A meetup finally with the ladies, on 9th May. Yups that's last month. And, June is gonna end in a week's time.

A long walk......

Finally! Lunch @ Halia Restaurant. We had Lunch Specials.

3-Course $32++. Expensive.

For appetiser, it was a dish I'd never tried before. Beetroot, goat feta cheese, fresh orange, pine nut, mesclun salad in xeres vinaigrette. A rather big portion AND of acquired taste.

The ladies ordered the respective 3 other appetisers on the Lunch Specials Menu.

The dish on the left is an appetiser as well - Jalapeno basil prawn cake with mango salsa and mesclun salad. On the right, is the Singapore-style chilli crab spaghettini (with real crab meat). They had this as their main course.

I had something different, which is the herb-marinated seafood skewer. There's grilled prawn, scallop, squid and mussel, couscous salad and citrus vinaigrette. Very fresh and juicy. Small portion though. I did help 1 of 'em polish off the spaghettini :d~ FYI, me don't like to waste food.

The desserts were not bad. Mine was really normal. Chocolate brownie, macadamia ice cream, pecan and maple syrup.

More interesting ones are the cappuccino "dunking pit" and young ginger frozen nougat parfait. According to the waitress, the former had a strong taste which one might not like. My friend went ahead to order it and thankfully she did. It taste awesomeee! Layered warm chocolate, vanilla ice cream AND iced coffee shaving WITH brownie cookie! OMG what's not to like?! Kinda overwhelming for one BUT it makes a good dessert to SHARE ♥

Recommended! (if you've the extra cash to spare.) An occasional indulgence doesn't hurt.

Me and my friends had a mini gathering last Saturday. And, we had BBQ. A couple of us met up earlier to prepare for this BBQ, and it was a seriously super tiring task. +_+ I think it's my very 1st time being so involved in BBQ preparation. Well, it was fun nevertheless albeit some hiccups here and there.

We took quite a while to prepare, coz we bought so much food!

I dunno what are they called but they tasted quite good though.

SAUSAGE FEAST, anyone? Woah, got big.. small, long, short :x Me loves the Taiwan sausages hehe..

The marinated chicken wings from NTUC were fresh & tasty!

The honey glazed bacon strips so EX, $20! Tasted not bad. Didn't WOW me though.

BBQ time! We had to wait for the heavy rain to stop and luckily, it stopped at around 6plus. I seriously can't imagine if the rain didn't stop =.=ll

Many have had blogged about the OnSugarettes' gathering. Now it's my turn, a short entry though (photos-filled as usual). And so, this Beauty X'mas Party (BXP) was held at Vivocity. Well, I didn't take any photos at Marché. I rushed there after meeting my client and felt kinda strange there since I don't know quite a number of 'em. I'm an introvert to begin with, and it takes a very long time for me to naturally warm up (seriously). There, I conversed mostly with Chantana and Jones.
