Yet another mask review. The mask I'm reviewing in this post is from LoveMore - Kiss Japan Electric Ore Peptide Firming Duo Lifting Mask. That's a pretty long name! :3

Each box contains 5pcs of mask, retailing at $8.90.

Each mask contains 30ml of essence (enough left-over for the hands and legs!).

As shown from the photo above, the mask fits my face well. With the inclusion of ear hooks, the mask adheres to the skin perfectly. You can definitely multi-task.

I think... my skin is getting better, with the diligent mask-ing and new skincare routine.

As for the mask... I like that the essence doesn't feel sticky, and is easily absorbed into skin after massaging. A pampering facial treat for the skin indeed. Plus, the scent is so soothing... very relaxing! Though there isn't much of an instant firming effect after mask-ing, my skin feels nicely moisturized and supple.

I've been mask-ing diligently every other day, using this new facial mask brand from Taiwan - Kila Doll.

Overall Review

As mentioned earlier, the mask sheet is very-very thin and translucent. It tears easily as it's super soft. The size of the mask sheet is just nice for my relatively big face with high forehead. Fits perfectly on me and doesn't fall off throughout the mask-ing session (20mins).

Kila Doll masks contain quite a lot of essence. The left-over is used on my neck, hands and legs, as usual. The essence has a light texture, which is easily absorbed into the skin. No sticky feel at all.

No irritation or stinging sensation. Just pure comfort.

The 1st mask I tried was the Rose Moisturizing one. Initially, I thought it would be my favorite coz I love the smell of rose water (think Jurlique). It smells okay but not the way I like. While I didn't see any brightening effect, my skin feels moisturized after use. Hmm... it is not soothing enough to calm the redness on my skin.

Next, I tried Diamond Platinum Mask, which is my clear favorite. It smells really good! The slight redness on my skin was almost gone after mask-ing. My skin looks so much better, more supple and radiant. Highly recommended!

I like Hyaluronic Acid Mask too. It hydrates my skin pretty well. My skin feels so soft, smooth and moisturized after use. I highly recommend this as well!

Just now, I tried Tranexamic Acid Mask and think that it's not that moisturizing, in my opinion. Well, my skin looks slightly brighter though.

The mask sheet is very thin and translucent. It was dripping wet with essence.

There's a lot of essence left-over in the sachet, which I apply on my legs and arms. The essence is very-very watery and smells like sweet strawberries... not overwhelming... smells yummilicious-ly good! ♥

The mask adheres and fits my face pretty well. Although the mask sheet is very thin, it doesn't tear easily (if used cautiously). I find it fairly easy to put on the mask. Well, at least easier than I thought.

I leave the mask on for 15mins. The mask feels cooling and comfy on the skin. There's no stinging sensation or whatsoever.

After removing the mask, I pat the skin gently for the essence to be absorbed. The essence absorbs into the skin pretty fast, within 1-2 mins (I think). Zero stickiness!

Recently, I'm having really bad skin. The left side of my face is still okay... but the right *SIGH* 6 angry spots!! This mask is really soothing, which helps to calm the redness on my skin within just 15mins. The strawberry essence does help to tighten up my pores (as shown from the photo above). I like that it hydrates my skin very well. My skin definitely looks more radiant than before. A must-try for beauty addicts!

It is housed in a typical acrylic jar and comes with a spatula (not pictured) for hygiene purpose.

I've been using this for a month so far. This is the final step of my skincare routine, after toner and serum. That is, if I'm not using Sooryehan Fermented Overnight Pack.

I prefer to use it at night as I find that the consistency to be too rich for day use. Mildly gummy, I would say. Inevitably, it does take a while to absorb. I'll lightly pat the skin for a few mins until I feel it's fully absorbed. Once absorbed, it doesn't feel as sticky as before.

Hmm... there's one thing that this product can do without - the strong sweet creamy scent (I think it's the sweet almond proteins?), which can be rather overwhelming. Well... as long as the product works well, nothing else matters right? heh.

Overall, I like that it is effective in skin regenerating... the healing of blemish scars and improvement in natural skin tone. My complexion is visibly clearer and smoother now. It also hydrates the skin pretty well, leaving it soft and supple. Moreover, it doesn't clog pores or cause any irritations/breakouts. Thumbs up! ♥

 

Beauté Revital Power Snail Mask

It contains 0.5% of snail secretion filtrate.

The hydrogel mask material is thin and translucent, and the texture is similar to that of agar-agar. It comes in upper and lower parts, wedged between a white plastic sheet and a clear film... which I've encountered slight difficulty in getting the mask out. Part of the mask doesn't adhere to the skin well. Upon applying on the mask, there's a nice cooling sensation.

I leave on the mask for about 20 mins. The essence has faint whiffs of floral, very pleasant. It has a runny consistency, which feels mildly slimy. Instead of rinsing with water (after mask removal), I lightly pat the essence until it's fully absorbed into skin. It only takes about few mins, by the way. Ahh... it feels so nourishing for the skin!

Within such a short time span, the mask has the incredible ability to soothe most of the redness on my skin (due to light extraction). It also hydrates the skin very well. My skin looks much brighter and glowy after mask-ing. Definitely one of the better masks I've tried so far.

Last month, Apper from The Face Apps (an online store with beauty products imported directly from Korea), passed me some products from LG Household and Health Care to review.

LG Household and Health Care is a big Korean company, which carries many well-known skincare brands such as The History of Whoo, O hui, Isaknox, LacVert, Vonin and Sooryehan.

I'll be reviewing products from Beyond and Sooryehan in this post, starting with Sooryehan Fermented Overnight Pack.

Sooryehan Fermented Overnight Pack

How to Use?

As the last step in evening basic skin care, dispense an adequate amount and gently dab while evenly applying over the entire face. Avoid areas around the eye and mouth. Massage the face gently for one minute for better absorption.

 

I like that it comes with a pump dispenser - very hygienic.

Apper told me to refrigerate it prior usage, which I did.

My thoughts:

After my usual night skincare routine, I dispense one pump of product for the whole face. The product itself is milky orange in color. Its consistency is slightly tacky. Do note that it has a pretty strong creamy ginseng scent. It smells good to me coz I like the smell of ginseng. Anyway, not to worry if you ain't a fan of ginseng. The scent disappears once the product gets absorbed into the skin, after a minute of massaging.

So far, I've been using this overnight pack for about 3 weeks (2-3 times per week). I wake up to a fresh-looking complexion, every single use without fail. It helps rejuvenate my dull, lackluster skin... tighten my pores too! I'm definitely impressed when I find that my makeup adheres to my skin better now.

And, I can feel that my skin is firmer and toned right now. Well, it might be attributed to my diligent anti-ageing skincare routine. Nevertheless, Sooryehan Fermented Overnight Pack plays a part too!

 

Let's move on to masks from Beyond...

Beyond Damage Therapy

This is a highly concentrated hair treatment and hair cap that contains extracts from acai berries. The dual-phase intensive care hair mask repairs hair damaged by external stimuli and frequent hair styling. It delivers all natural nutrients to each strand of dull, lifeless hair to make it silky, shiny and vibrant!

How to use?

After shampooing, apply the treatment evenly to towel-dried hair and put on the essence-containing hair cap. Leave on for 15-20 mins, remove the cap and rinse well.

 

My thoughts:

The texture of the hair treatment is thick and creamy, which doesn't feel greasy at all. Scent-wise, it smells like coconut. I apply it onto towel-dried hair and put on the hair cap. I leave it on for 20 mins. The hair cap is essential as it will help the hair treatment get absorbed into the hair. Moreover, it contains organic acai berry extract which instantly nourishes and strengthens the hair.

During the 20mins, my hair feels "stuffy" within the hair mask (in a good way). It feels as though I'm having a hair steam.

After 20mins, I remove the cap and rinse my hair. I can really feel that this one-time treatment has deeply conditioned my hair, leaving it feeling so moisturized. After blow-drying my hair, my hair feels super soft and smooth to touch. The soft and smooth effect lasts for days!

 

Beyond Bye-bye Panda Eyes

How to use?

My thoughts:

The thin eye mask patch material feels like agar-agar, moist and soothing on the skin. I left it on for 40 mins. I feel that it hydrates well. And, it actually smooths out fine lines on the under eye area. However, I didn't notice any brightening effect.

I guess with continuous use, the results will be much more apparent?

 

Beyond Bye-bye Smile Lines

How to use?

Open the package and remove the patch. Peel off the transparent film from the patch to apply the smooth side to the skin. Apply the patch carefully around your smile lines and remove after 20-40 minutes.

My thoughts:

The mask patch material is the same as that of Bye-bye Panda Eyes. I left it on for 40 mins as well. It helps smooth out some of the fine lines and my smile line is slightly less prominent.

With just one-time usage, I can't possibly see the line disappearing. Not bad for 1st trial? :D

This is my 1st time using a 2-step mask! Innovative much :D

 

How to use?

I followed the instructions accordingly.

There is 3ml of "Mask Base Ampoule", which I spread on evenly on the face and neck. 3ml is too much for the face and neck actually... not that I'm complaining :D The texture is jelly/gel like, which somehow reminds me of Sana Hadanomy Collagen Mask. Smells pleasant too. Fyi, it is fragrance free, coloring free, alcohol free. That sounds great for those with sensitive skin!

Anyway, the purpose of applying this "Mask Base Ampoule" prior mask-ing is to help maximize the effect of the sheet mask and high absorption rate to the skin.

To help the "Mask Base Ampoule" to be better absorbed into skin, I gently wrap my face with both hands. For photography purpose, I wrap with one hand 1st :p

Masking time! The sheet mask is literally drenched with essence. The essence feels a lil' slimy.

The mask sheet is rather thin, which my skin is peeking through... my dark circles too =.=

It is a close-to-perfect fit for my face contours and adheres to my skin well -- thanks to the high density Cupra sheet (long fiber extracted from cocoon).

I remove the mask promptly after leaving it on for 20 mins. It instantly brightens up my complexion and my skin feels so soft, smooth and supple -- QQ! I gently pat the skin for the remaining essence to be absorbed. It takes about 10mins, for the essence to be fully absorbed into skin. It doesn't leave any sticky feel on the skin though I mention earlier that the essence feels a lil' slimy.

To see even more significant results, it is recommended to use the mask continuously twice a week for 4 weeks.

Oh yes, this has become one of my favorite masks! The price is a bit steep but it's worth every penny. Do try it!

We were given a brief introduction on LEADERS InSolution Masks, followed by a mask demo.

The model-of-the-day (Yi Jing) had one side of her face mask-ed with LEADERS InSolution Mask, and the other with Brand X. Do you know which is which?

LEADERS InSolution Mask is an ultra fine & thin silk cellulose mask sheet which adheres to the skin snugly, whereas Brand X is a normal cotton mask sheet which threatens to fall off any minute (true enough, it kept falling off throughout). The former is soaked with tons of highly concentrated essence. The latter? Water type essence. Upon removing the mask, one can instantly see the apparent result difference of the respective masks. The right side of her face was clearly more radiant. Mask review time...

My pick -- Aloe Soothing Skin Renewal Mask, which provides skin hydration, skin soothing, helps calm & balance irritated skin.

It has a faint floral scent. The mask material is soft yet not flimsy. One thing for sure, it doesn't tear easily.

The left-over essence in the sachet is enough for me to apply for both legs and arms. Now, they feel so soft and smooth to touch. The consistency is runny, and feels kinda sticky. The stickiness dissipates when the essence gets fully absorbed into skin.

You can see now why I pick this mask. See the redness on my skin? I did some light extraction at the nose area. Well, my skin gets red very easily coz it's very thin and sensitive.

Having tried so many masks so far, this mask does adhere to my face contours quite well. The mask sheet is thin enough for the redness on my skin to peek through. Not the thinnest but somehow I really like the material.

 

After leaving the mask on for 20mins...

I am WOW-ed by the efficacy of this mask -- thumbs up! *love x infinity*

Redness ALL GONE! It really does relieve skin stimulation fast with its aloe extract - skin soothed in just 20 mins.

Clear, hydrated skin... *happy max*

This is an ultra-soothing mask, which hydrates the skin well at the same time. If you're looking for an effective mask to soothe a sudden skin trouble or sensitive condition without stimulation, look no further. I'm sure you'll love this mask as much as I do.

I'd reviewed part of the Neogence ACE Revitalizing and Brightening Series HERE... and this post will be all about the mask! If you've been following me for a while, you should be well aware that I'm a mask fanatic. Mask-ing is an integral part of my skincare routine. I mask at least once a week, at most twice.

Neogence Ace Renewal & Repairing Mask is a special micro introducing mask which contains Rovisome® Ace Plus (revitalizing, anti-aging and whitening), Retinol, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Matrixyl™ 3000, Hyaluronic Acid.

Results of using this mask?

• Enhancing skin elasticity and repairing
• Reducing fine lines and anti-aging.

The mask itself is very thin, and the material feels like cotton. The cotton fiber mask is wedged between a white plastic sheet and blue sheet (meant for ease of mask positioning). With the blue sheet, I find it real easy to place and position the thin mask (NOTE: without the use of a mirror)!

Fragrance-free; no scent detected at all. The mask is well-soaked with 30ml essence, with no left-over in the sachet.

After unfolding the mask, remove the white plastic sheet. Place the mask onto face and make sure it fits snugly. Making use of the blue sheet, position the mask accordingly and peel it off across the face. Leave the mask on for 15-20 mins. No need to rinse off after removing mask.

The mask is so thin yet not fragile (doesn't tear easily). You can see my skin peeking through... and some red marks (mainly on the forehead).

The mask is a perfect fit for my face. Doesn't threaten to fall off while I'm multi-tasking.

It comes with eye flaps, which you can flip it up to mask your eye area (with your eyes closed of course).

I've used this mask once a week (last week and this week). No skin irritations experienced so far. No breakouts.

The essence has a fairly light texture, absorbs fast and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky/greasy. I massaged the remaining essence instead of rinsing it off. After which, I apply Neogence Ace Revitalizing Hydrating Fluid.

Overall, I find the mask pretty soothing and moisturizing. My skin appears visibly plumped and radiant after removing the mask. I also noticed that my pores are minimized and laugh lines slightly reduced. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a good and affordable anti-aging mask.

I reviewed the Slim V and Gold Power earlier on (CLICK HERE). In this post, I'll be sharing my thoughts on Snail Charm. The thought of having "snails" on my face... *shudders*

When applied to the skin, it triggers and contributes to the natural healing process of damaged skin. Repairs, protects and prevents skin from further damages. Suitable for all skin types.

I leave on Snail Charm for 40mins. For conventional sheet masks, the recommended timing is 15mins (no more than that).

As compared to the previous masks, this has more essence left-over (applied on my legs). The essence has a runny consistency. That came as a nice surprise as I visualized it to be disgustingly slimy. It does have a mild sticky feel though. This time, I rinse off after mask-ing.

When the mask is placed on the face, it doesn't feel wet. The mask does not adhere to the skin well, and falls off quite easily.

Snail Charm doesn't feel as moisturizing as I would like. Doesn't irritate my skin. It is pretty soothing to the skin. That's about it? For best results, it is recommended to mask this 3 times a week. The mask is on the pricey side [1 pc - $4.90, a set of 5pc - $17.80]. Unlike traditional sheet mask, Hydrogel does not have any holding medium. It is made of high quality ingredients (water, seaweed, vegetable extract), pure nutrients and essences using advance technology, to form into a soft water-gel mask. This is just like how ice is formed from water.

Slim V

The texture of Hydrogel reminds me of agar-agar (non-stretchable). The mask will tear if you do not handle the mask with care (especially when you've long fingernails).

As shown from the image above, it is not drenched with essences.

Hydrogel will "melt" upon applying onto face, which helps the nutrients and essences to penetrate deeply into skin.

Hmm.. I think the eye/lip mask pieces are optional to put on? Upon putting on the (glossy-looking) mask, it gives my skin a nice cooling sensation. The mask does fit onto the face contours well, but is prone to fall-outs as well. That means I can't multi-task with this particular mask.

I put on the mask for a good 40mins, which is nearly 3x my normal mask-ing routine!

All is worthwhile, coz I can see the moisturizing glow on my face! My skin looking very refreshed after removing the mask.

Hmm... I don't see any firming effect... BUT... HELLO! Soft and smooth skin :D

Gold Power

Contains yummy ingredients (caviar & salmon egg extract). This mask helps to nourish & restore the skin. According to TheNatureLab, it has an amazing ability to slow down signs of aging.

Shimmery gold mask, which smells oh-so-good! Too bad, it can't be re-used...

Pretty mask yea? It doesn't leave the skin shimmery though... I wished :p

In my opinion, Gold Power is not as moisturizing as Slim V. In fact, I barely see any results after using the mask. Perhaps only noticably softer skin... =.=
