I'm already a happy L'EGERE BB Cream user even before the travel-size tubes (10g each) were sent to me for review. As for the retail-size tubes shown in the photo, I bought 'em at John Little.

It was rather disturbing when I had my first acquaintance with L'egere White Multi BB Cream. Like most BB Creams in the market, it comes in only one shade. And, this shade looks way too dark for my skin tone... the orange undertones... =.=

I was literally amazed when I start spreading the Multi White on my skin. The dark orangey shade instantly transforms into a medium beige shade with pink undertones. It's close to my skin color albeit a tad lighter. Leaves a slight sheen on the skin.

It has a light creamy consistency which feels a lil' sticky initially. I find it easy to blend, using fingers (as usual).

L'egere Water Drop Shiny Pearl has a light liquidy texture. It feels more lightweight as compared to Multi White. The shade is beige with slight grey undertones, a lil' darker than my skin tone.

I like how it goes on very smoothly on the skin, with a hint of cooling sensation upon application. Like Kameria Water Drop Super Moisture, there are water droplets formed when spreaded on the skin. That leaves a moisturized feel on my skin. When blended out, the 3D pearl shining particles illuminates the skin well without looking too shimmery. It reminds me of Skin79 Crystal Pearl BB Cream, with slightly better coverage. Like Skin79 Crystal Pearl BB Cream, it is excellent as a highlighter to complement my regular makeup.

They have the same faint citrusy scent, I like!

Both provide sheer to medium coverage, with White Multi being slightly better. They do not conceal imperfections like dark circles completely, hence the need for a separate concealer. Overall, they do help even out my skin tone pretty well -- giving a semi dewy finish. And, I like that they feel lightweight on the skin especially Water Drop Shiny Pearl.

In terms of oil-control, I would say Water Drop Shiny Pearl does a better job. For Multi White, I do see the need of blotting with tissue after just 2 hours or so. Nevertheless, a good mattifying powder will do the job of keeping the oilies at bay -- think Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. Ahh... I can never stop raving about this awesome possum HG product!

All in all, I enjoy using these L'egere BB Creams especially on days when I don't feel like piling on too much makeup. They are like my second skin, but definitely much-much better.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this BB Cream. Here are the looks [CLICK HERE, CLICK HERE] I did, using Skin79 Vital Orange BB Cream [product details HERE].

Retail price: $49.90 (40g)

The bottle packaging of Skin79 Vital Orange BB Cream is exactly like that of its Hot Pink and VIP Gold counterparts. I was never a fan of orange (color). That said, this cheerful shade of orange has grown on me somehow.

It contains SPF50+ PA+++ (protects skin against UVA and UVB rays) -- that means you can safely skip the sunblock.

The pump area is a fingerprint magnet! Easy to wipe off with tissue though.

Skin79 Vital Orange BB Cream is formulated to suit oily/combination skin types. For those with dry skin, this may cause uneven patches. Do use a good hydrating moisturizer first and skip the use loose/pressed powder (to set BB Cream).

Remember to clean the nozzle area, after every use.

Press the pump lightly to dispense a pea-size amount for half of face.

I notice that it has a light citrusy scent, which smells nice to me.

A little goes a long way, as the consistency of this BB Cream is pretty thick. It reminds me of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, but not as thick. I find it easy to apply on the skin and blend out evenly using my fingers. It has a semi-matte finish, which leaves a luminous sheen on the skin.

The color is really light, more suitable for fairer skin tones. It has no obvious grey undertones. It has slight yellow undertones though. Luckily, it doesn't make my skin look yellowish.

I wouldn't say it matches my skin tone exactly, just a tone lighter. Well, I really like how it makes me look naturally fair... without looking odd when photographed.

Though the consistency of this BB Cream is pretty thick, it doesn't look or feel thick on the skin. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing a "mask" or anything. In fact, it feels beautifully lightweight and comfortable. Plus, it doesn't leave any sticky or greasy feel.

Coverage-wise, it's good enough to even out my skin tone and conceal my flaws. Medium-full coverage, I would say.

As you can see from the photos, it doesn't make my skin look in any way cakey. I really like love the nice soft-focus effect it has on my skin, which makes my skin look flawless!

I like setting Skin79 Vital Orange BB Cream with Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. It IS the best combination for me so far, which ensures that the oiliness is kept at bay. Lovely!

Whitening + Elastic All in One has a pinkish grey undertone, whereas Anti-Acne & Pore Tightening's undertone is slightly yellowish. Water Drop Super Moisture is the darkest among the three, with a grey undertone.

Texture-wise, Whitening + Elastic All in One is slightly sticky but blends evenly well. No worries, the slightly sticky feel is nothing uncomfortable, which dissipates thereafter. Anti-Acne & Pore Tightening has a creamy consistency which turns slightly watery upon blending on the skin. Water Drop Super Moisture has a rather smooth liquid texture, and there are water droplets formed when spreaded on the skin. I really like the moisturizing effect it has on my skin.

After blending, the BB creams will somehow adjust to my skin tone for a natural look. Having said that, Water Drop Super Moisture is apparently too dark on me (taking into account that my face is at least 2 tones lighter than my hand).

These BB creams help even out my skin tone beautifully, giving my skin a nice natural dewy finish. Anti-Acne & Pore Tightening has a medium coverage, which covers my flaws adequately well. The other two have a slightly lighter coverage, which is good enough for me (unless I'm having a bad skin day). A separate concealer is much needed if you need to conceal serious dark circles, acne scars, etc.

The best match for my skin tone (NC/NW20) is Whitening + Elastic All in One. Anti-Acne & Pore Tightening is a lil' fair on me, but doesn't make me look weirdly pale though. Water Drop Super Moisture is too dark for my liking -- I look tanned. Those with darker skin tone will definitely appreciate this, since it is not easy to find a dark tone BB cream.

The oil-control is average for all three. I need to blot my face about 3 to 4 hours later (which is the norm for me).

Overall, I like how Kameria Baby Face BB Creams make my face look so naturally fresh and glowy effortlessly. If I have to pick one... I'll definitely go for Anti-Acne & Pore Tightening. It simply makes my skin look amazingly flawless -- nuff' said ♥

This is one of the many BB Creams that I'd tried before - Gowoonsesang Brightening Balm SPF 30PA++. I think, it was way back in 2010 that I gotta know about Gowoonsesang.

[Retail Price: SGD$43 / 60ml]

This BB Cream was launched in 2009. It is a make up base that controls sebum, which feels like a light foundation. Highly hydrating and soothing to the skin. The hydrophilic and lipophilic ingredients, each of these unique formulations works on a cellular level to help the skin achieve and maintain a clearer, healthier look. Comes with SPF30 PA++, ideal for sun block.

Like most BB Creams, it comes in one shade (dark beige). It is lightly scented.

Initially, it does look much darker than my skin tone (as shown from the image above). After a few mins, it somehow "adjust" to blend in with my skin tone albeit still a lil' dark.

What I like about most is its texture; not too thick or runny. Prior applying the BB Cream onto my face, I will usually squeeze some onto the back of palm to warm it up (using my fingers). Easy to apply and spread on the skin. Doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy/sticky. The finish is somewhat dewy, definitely not matte. I must say, the oil control part is pretty decent.

I like how it evens out my skin tone and the coverage is just right for me. My skin looks naturally flawless; redness and dark circles concealed. I do wish that it comes with a slightly lighter shade though, coz I like to look fairer :x

Lovely Girl BB Cream is light beige in color, with slightly ashy undertones. Has a faint sweet bubblegum scent.

It has a lightweight texture; easy to spread on the face with no sticky feeling. Offers sheer medium, natural looking coverage. Perfect for light makeup days.

At first, the Lovely Girl BB Cream does look slightly ashy on me. Within minutes, it blends in with my skin tone! *HAPPY!~*

It helps even out my skintone and covers my redness pretty well. Brightens up my complexion instantly, thanks to herb complex & chlorella extracts.

A dewy natural finish, which I really like!

Lovely Girl BB Cream works well for my fair-medium skin tone (NC/NW20). Suitable for fair to fair-medium skin tones (in my opinion). The sheer medium coverage is good enough for me on my good skin days. A separate concealer is needed if you've serious acne and/or dark circle problem. It's easy to spread and blend the BB Cream on my face, using my trusty fingers. I like how the BB Cream feels on the skin, very comfortable and moisturizing (not sticky/greasy).

The finish is really natural-looking, with a lovely glow. It is made of excellent porosity powder, hence providing good oil control (I need to blot after 5-6 hours). Even better, when I use Maybelline Dream Matte Powder (Sand) to set the BB Cream.

Note: Do remember to use a sunblock as it doesn't contain SPF.

My skin looks silky smooth, velvety and soft (like that of baby's skin). Agree? (:

This was the LOTD I had on the day of the FORD Supermodel Singapore 2011 Media Event. I decided to have a rainbow theme. Hmm.. More colors for my eye makeup (I mean). And, check out my super long lashes! Yes, fake ones (duh). LOL.

What's on my face. The title says it all: Maybelline BB Cream. Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals BB Cream SPF 26/PA+++ (Fresh) to be specific. Received this at the Bloggers' event and I've used it for several times. So, time for a review!

On to my review. For me, the BB cream texture is just right (not too thick, not too runny). Best thing? Blends effortlessly, giving my face a really nice brightening touch. A dewy finish, certainly not matte. No sticky feel. Oil control not that fantastic, not THAT bad as well. Coverage wise, is quite good (for me). Evens out my skin tone well. However, there's a need for a separate concealer if you want perfect full-coverage.

"Fresh" is a good match for me (NC20), and I find it really easy to apply. You know some BB creams ain't easy to apply and often leaves an ugly white cast. I find it rather disturbing, seeing ladies with ashy-looking faces on photos as well as in real life. DO NOT use a much lighter shade and think you'll look fairer. That's NOT the way. Trust me. Thankfully, Maybelline BB Cream doesn't make me look ashy. Agree much?

While the Maybelline BB Cream promises 8 Healthy Skin Benefits, namely Hydration, Skin Elasticity, Reduced Redness, Natural Radiance, Clarity, Smoothness, Reduced Pore Size, Reduced Dullness. I don't know about Skin Elasticity. Don't think it helps much in that aspect. Overall, it fulfills 7 out of 8 benefits (IMO). Not bad eh. I like that it doesn't have any peculiar scent to it. Oh, the price is super wallet-friendly ($16.90). Even better when there's promotion going on! eg. $13.52 after 20% discount. You won't regret purchasing this! (:

The lenses I had on was super uncomfortable. Made me tear non-stop :/ I discarded 'em after just using 'em twice. It was supposed to last me for months! And, I didn't like the stupid eyeliner. The one I used to line my bottom lashline. Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil Liner BK999, from the Chapter 30: Sugary Trap Collection. I love BR611 so much, yet I hate this black one to the core. Why?! :/

It smudges and flakes badly on me. Doesn't apply on smoothly. I hate it. Period.

Here's how the actual product looks like.

My Thoughts:

I've been using the Aqua Whitening Cream for almost a week. Initially, I wasn't too fond of the cream upon 1st application. I felt that the white creamy texture felt kinda greasy on my face. However, the "greasy feeling" was gone after the cream gets absorbed into the skin. And in place, I could see a glowy sheen on my face (see photo above). The soothing green tea scent smells so good, a scent which I really like alot!

lt doesn't mattify my skin but oil control is decent. What I like is that it does keep my face hydrated and moisturized for hours. If you're using it in the day, be sure to use a sunblock after which, as it does not have SPF stated (only UV protection).

As for skin whitening, lightening of spots and acne scars.. I can't see much results. For now, I think it really does help in preventing the formation of pimples (at least for me)! Why do I say so? That's because I didn't see any pimples/acnes this time round before my "time-of-the-month" came. Those awful zits will appear always, without fail. I can see and feel that my face feels less oily than usual!

My Thoughts:

Nude Cover BB Cream has a runny texture which can be quite messy when squeezing out the product. The shade looks lil' ashy on my NC20/NW20 skin tone. It is not suitable for ALL skin tones, definitely. Ladies with really fair complexion will find the shade too dark for 'em.

It is easy to blend and helps even out my skin tone. The finish is indeed natural and flawless. It does conceal my flaws (redness, dark circles and spots) decently. I do not need to use a separate concealer. It has the same nice green tea scent as the Aqua Whitening Cream ♥

It doesn't give a matte finish but the oil control part was okay. I need to blot after 3-4 hours, which is normal for me. It feels pretty comfortable on the skin as well, without feeling greasy or whatsoever.

Here's my makeup look after 5 hours. Still look pretty fresh right? :D

For this introductory post, I'll be doing a mini review on:

 

**Dr Jart+ Most Moist Waterfuse BB Cream

▶ “Skin protection” from ultraviolet ray
Sun protection of SPF27 PA++ factor.

▶ Strong moisturizing by water holding system

Containing glacier water, deep ocean water, hyalorunic acid rich in moisturizing power, and aloe vera soothing skin comfortably, helps to raise the water content, providing dry and weary skin with wetness like applying water cream.

▶ “Sebum control” without being greasy
The content of porous powder absorbing sweat or sebum into the powder pore helps to control sebum effectively, to prevent swelling/mess of make-up from excessively secreting sebum or sweat, and to stay dry without being greasy.

▶ Skin protection and soothing
The content of Portulaca Oleracea extract takes actions aggressively against skin stimulus caused by inside/outside environment, and protects the skin from the stimulus at maximum to sooth comfortably.
Vitamin E derivative: moisturizing and skin softening

 

How to use:

After a basic make-up, apply a little amount to your face by spreading. You do not need to use a make-up base or foundation separately.

The color of the BB cream looks kinda dark from the opening of the tube.

I would describe the color as neutral medium.

My mini review:

The neutral medium color blended well with my skin tone. Dr Jart+ Most Moist Waterfuse BB Cream has a slight watery consistency, which is non-sticky. Easy to apply and it gives me a dewy look. I would say the coverage is medium as it can't quite conceal my dark circles that well. However, it covers redness pretty well. My complexion is more even as shown from the photo above. It has SPF27 PA++, so I didn't use any sunscreen prior application. No concealer was used. I set my makeup with Palgantong Theatrical Loose Powder sparingly. The oil control is quite good actually as I only need to blot after 4-5 hours. Usually, I need to blot after 3 hours. If you prefer natural coverage, this does a good job. BUT If you need full flawless coverage, you will need to use a separate concealer. Btw It is not fragrance-free, and the scent is quite pleasant IMO.

I received this Dr Jart+ Premium Blemish Base (Limited Edition) sometime back, part of the package from Confirm Trading. I'm terribly sorry that I actually forgot to blog about this =.= Gonna finish up with this soon, since I'd been using it regularly before I started using the Bio-essence ones. I'll be doing a much thorough review soon, after it's finished (real soon). Meanwhile, this is just based on my 1st impression of this product.

What I received was a deluxe-size BB Cream. 15ml can prolly last me slightly more than a month. Well, a little goes a long way.

FYI, Dr Jart+ Premium Blemish Base (Limited Edition) has Whitening & Anti-Wrinkle properties with SPF45/PA+++. So I "safely" skipped the sun block and moisturizer part.

The perfect color match for my NC20 skin tone (:

I didn't really blend the BB Cream out THAT well on my hand :x It kinda looks dark, but it's not. You will soon find out why.

BEFORE applying BB Cream and wearing lenses. 100% naked face, scary eh.

AFTER applying BB Cream and wearing lenses. 50% better hahas xD My dark circles still can be seen CLEARLY.

After more than 8 hours out. I decided to wear these scary-looking neon pink EOS lenses (ok, I know Halloween is long over =.=). Pardon my poor quality photos since I was using my iPhone camera function (inadequate lighting that's why).

My thoughts after using it for the 1st time:

The texture of this BB Cream is slightly light, which explains why the coverage is not that fantastic. I still need to use concealer for my spots and dark circles. However, it helps to even out my skin tone, and I like that the shade is just perfect for me. Not too yellowish or pinkish. After applying BB Cream, I use pressed powder to set my makeup. No cakey feeling, which is good. Slight radiance IMO.

The moment Bio-essence Platinum BB Cream was launched, I tried it on my hand and was amazed at the luminous glow it imparts. I also love its slight citrus (?) smell :p However, I didn't buy it immediately as I've alot of new BB Creams waiting for me to use. After a week or so, I succumbed to temptation and bought it together with the Aqua BB Cream (at full retail price). It's hard to resist temptation, y'all should know better. Well, no regrets (:

This is the one I'd bought, can see that I'd been using this for many times eh.

Dinner time with the girls (Linda, Cheryl & Jessie) at Ministry of Food (MOF), Bugis outlet. About 1 hour later when this photo was taken. Glowy look, yes ? :p

It was an impromptu decision to ask Seb along. It has been more than half a year since I last saw him. That time, my hair was super long. 1st thing he commented was I looked handsome with my new hairstyle *grinz*. Next, he commented I looked rounder :/ Whatever. Nice catchin' up with him (my best guy friend for 5 years and counting..) ! Thanks for your listening ear (: I'll try to summarize next time if possible. You too ok, hahas xD

This photo was taken about 5 hours later (after I reached home). I didn't set my makeup with loose/pressed powder this time. I only applied pressed powder sparingly on my bottom eye area. I didn't blot much, maybe just once during dinner ?

No sun block/moisturizer/concealer/makeup base was used, just only the BP BB Cream ♥ Super time saver, I like !

My Verdict:

BP BB Cream has adequate coverage for skin which have minor flaws. As the shade is on the fair side, it doesn't conceal redness that well IMO. There's no sticky feeling after applying the BP BB Cream, hence there's no need for loose/pressed powder to set the makeup. When applying the BB Cream, it feels different as compared to other BB Creams. Umm how should I put it.. ? It's as if I'm applying micro metal bits on my face (bcoz of the platinum ?), I can feel it. Does anyone feel the same way as I do ? Initially, the BP BB Cream looks kinda fair on me, but it somehow "adjusted" to my skin tone after a while. My face do look glowy and fresh even after many hours later. My flaws are concealed quite well (not fully though). The oil control was good IMO coz I only blotted once. Well, I love this BP BB Cream very much ! Hmm a lil' more than the BME BB Cream perhaps :x Highly recommended for those who don't require full makeup coverage !
